I have pwned my iPhone to 2.1 using Pwnage..
But just now i realized that when i received a sms and i don't read it, the sms tone will ring again..
Is this normal?
Or it is a new feature in the new 2.1?

I have downloaded the fw 2.1 few days ago, but NEVER click "update", until justnow when I ope iTune, it just start backing up (I don't know if I did accidentally click "update" or not") and start updating my iphone 3G....

sad... all my cydia software just gone... have to wait for the Quickpwn 2.1 PC version..

Jailbreaker... just be careful...

You still can JB using your friends mac with Pwnagetool. Fast and simple.

Just pwnage to 2.1 and SMS is still slacks. How about the app patch?? Do we still need it? as all my SMS in a mess.

Ok, Restarted and Deleted some old SMS, the app is slightly better but all nos won't appear in the form of NAME but +601.... instead....
please help

Please use App support Patch like used on previous versions or check in cydia for the patch

My 2 g on 2.1 battery life sucks man.Anyone have same issue and manage to solve this.Some sites say just to drain and recharge.Will this help?

Well on my iPhone 2G, battery life is consider good. You can complete a full charge cycle by using it from 100% (full charge) to 0% (needs charge) every 1-2 months once. This is to give practice to your battery life so that it can be use longer. Battery life issue is maybe due to what apps you always run.

He he.... I am replying my own post.

Yup I downloaded the 2G custom restore and proceed to shift restore from itune 8.0. I now have Iphone Firmware 2.1 with a Pineapple boot up LOGO.
Phone still works so it is unlock and I have cydia install so I believe it should be Jailbreak already. Will proceed to install OpenSSH.
