IMO that Vantec 450W true power is enough to power it up, for that configuration and running it stock la that is. If OC then different story.

That one not sure man, but if you OC a lot on that processor + GC. definitely going to use a lot more. But if only at stock, most use about 250W only.

4850 bottlenecked by the memory, 4870 bottlenecked by the core lol. Guess that's DDR5 for you.

I don't know if this is related to GC or not, let's say I were to get a 1920x1080 24" LCD, and obviously 4850GS doesn't have enough power to run it at that native resolution. If I were to go to a lower resolution, can I set it so that the display remains at 1440x900 (eg) but with black edges at the side instead of it resizing to fill the entire screen? Is this GC or the display dependent?

Drivers used will affect the OC ability? Anyways what test did you use to verify your card is stable at the oc-ed clock?

Lol, the part where you stand on top and start shooting with the guns? Seems alright to me le hmm, didn't notice it slowing down...(or maybe I was too busy aiming at stuffs...)
I think the ice part slowed down a little, after the hovercraft and when you're on foot.

4870 has more processing power... but 1920x1080 on that S2409W of yours hmm... I don't know tongue.gif.

Nvidia gc has the upperhand, but as newer ATI drivers released they are as well optimized for Crysis smile.gif. Wait for the upcoming 8.10, apparently giving boost to games like Crysis.

Crytek's engine became famous due to the requirement, became another benchmark tool for reviewers >.< Personally I enjoyed COD4 more than Crysis/Warhead.

Hmm, on the reference card, I've seen temps going above 80C at 100% fan speed on the Sapphire 4850. Pretty hot IMO when compared to those non ref coolers. + damn noisy.

by the time you play higher res, the gc itself cannot handle well already >.< but if 4870 then different story.

Everything in a mess. But what I thought is for Crysis, the graphic card is always the bottleneck even before the CPU. There was a review of i7 versus C2Q, performance for Crysis was quite similiar because the GC bottlenecked.

This? 625/1986. That's clock stock speed...Or maybe you should wait a bit longer for those OC-ed 1GB?

Good news for those with 4670, hmm does this mean the final has been modified a little since the "leaked" cannot be installed on 4670 systems?
