i noticed something here in LYN, people tend to prefer the brand nVidia over ATI regardless of how bad their cards are, like 9500GT in comparison to HD4670
marketing failure by ATI?

Cause the green shiny logo of Nvidia appears in most of the games. Thus, giving those who doesn't research a lot on which card more worth for the money.

cuz ppls tend to listen to oni one review...

Ati was my first GC when I bought my laptop. And it stays on till now with my 4850 =)

my first graphic card was S3, never heard of nVidia or ATI back then
then second card also S3, finally hopped to nVidia GeForce, then ATI Radeon, and now Radeon HD

lolz not matching wey...should be from 2900XT ---> HD4870 baru certified FTW ma

my timeline card is X1950PRO ---> HD3870 and 4 the first time ever i might consider one generation skip HD4870 as reviews certified this baby is more than 2X faster than HD3870 in ATI friendly games like grid and COD4 2 name a few

from 7300gt migrate to 4850... love the juice...

not killed..had some weird buzzing sound..at first it was during gaming..then later on even not gaming also buzzing..so rma lor...very fast..less than 1 week my new card arrived

RMA 3870 last week

Guys, here's some update about the HIS 4830 I'm using on my bro's comp. Driver I'm using now is CCC 8.10. It seems it is not stable; it crashes each time I play Dawn of War - Dark Crusade. 5-7 mins into the game and it crashes.

I used GPUZ and its sensors can't give me any reading.

I doubt its GC problem now.. I believe its CCC problem. When is CCC 8.12 estimated to be released?

I'll conduct further research later la as I will not be at home till this Sunday.

so for now all the reviews in all google search is ati owning nvidia now??? lol.... plan get a ati card for my gaming machine next year..... still playing my ps2 games =.=!!! but the graphic not as nice as the new games wit using new gc.. -.-!! darn

wa lao how the hell you raep your card so hard you are so merciless go and doggy the card 4 what lulz mine still lasting long like heck 4 more than 11 months dy...i bet my card sure lot of people die die want 2 buy one and sold like hot cakes when i plan 2 sell it in garage sales because the condition is still looking very new after almost 1 year

of kos get 4850 now selling like hot cakes at 500+
