Hi guys,

I've just bought a GeCube Radeon HD4870 512MB today and testing it now. I can tell you that the image quality was awesome.

oh damn, my topic brought down my mods laugh.gif

here it is :

Nvidia is manipulating reviews? : http://technologic.ysoserius.com/2008/11/n...ng-reviews.html

QUOTE
Source: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=208261
the review site :

http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardwar...abschnitt_fazit
http://www.hardwareluxx.de/cms/artikel.php...ion=show&id=657
http://www.guru3d.com/article/top-10-games...core-216-test/#
http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=1414
http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/5_newest__pc_games/

my simple conclusion (based on the source):

1. The review is all about GTX 260 core 216 vs HD4870 1GB (coincidence !!)
2. Nvidia using this review website as their Public-Relation(PR) aka brainwash. laugh.gif
3. Too many reviews sprout out from nowhere, right after nvidia release their 180.47 BETA driver, and right before AMD release 8.11 Hotfix for X58 Platform
4. They are using the game setup and driver (GeForce 180.47 BETA and Catalyst 8.11)
5. Using the same game and the same game setting (AA, resolution, etc), this is the first time i see a Dead Space in review after the game release quite a while, with massive amount at the same time (see here),
# Far Cry 2
# Dead Space
# Fallout 3
# Call of Duty 5: World at War
# Left 4 Dead
p/s: (if you noticed, 180.47 driver to highlight massive performance of Dead Space)

6. comment from Bjorn3d:
You can't get much clearer than that. "The perfect GPU for the 2008 Christmas seasons hottest games, in the $300 dollar price range, is the GTX-260 Core 216." Be sure when you set on Santa's lap you tell him no GTX-260 Core 216 or don't slide down my chimney!

i've already said over and over again the gtx260 216sp pawns the hd4870 1gb easily

with the zotac gtx260 amp 2 vs gainward hd4870 1gb still the same

and worse when the zotac still has another 15-20 percent overclocking headroom left..

was laughing my head off yesterday when one of the staff in ate.. stupid fella knows nothing and talking cock with me...just buat noob in front of him..

Any 4350 user here ah? I just bought an Asus 4350, but i couldn't get the HDMI working properly. My LG LCD can accept DVI and HDMI. So if i use HDMI-DVI cable to conenct LCD HDMI to 4350 DVI port, everything is okay, but if i use the HDMI cable to connect LCD HDMI to 4350 HDMI, the screen is like offset, way off, about 1/4 up and 1/4 left...

Well another problem is i have to use the 4350 DVI for my other LCD because the LCD VGA port sot sot jor. So i really have to connect the LG LCD using HDMI-HDMI...

I just wanna confirm if the 4350 HDMI is working properly else where...

use DVI->HDMI converter bundled along, then use HDMI cable

Well, the problem is the LG only HDMI available (no DVI; VGA connected to Xbox360), the secondary Viewsonic only DVI works... sad.gif Urgh, headache...
