Also, just changed money just now at Maybank Bureau de Change, for my trip to Frankfurt tomorrow. RM was 3.5 for USD1, so for the 16GB Nano, we only pay an RM99 premium over the Machine price. Normal, or lower premium than before?

Instructions on how to get the real Magnetosphere into your iTunes visualizer list.

1. Go to that link, search for either an .exe for Windows or a zip file for Mac users. For Mac users, if you need the file, I can pass it to you through email. Be advised the visualizer file is LEGAL for distribution, they are still in beta.
2. To install it on Mac, put it in /Users/username/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins. for Windows folks, doubleclick the .exe. MAKE SURE you scan the .exe first, dont want yourself to be downloading a virus instead.
3. Enjoy!

Personally, I think the built-in iTunes visualizer is way better than Magnetosphere, although I can see similarities and how they've improved upon the original Magnetosphere. Looking at the void as nebulas spring into existence, and then birthing a planet, and tons of streaks of light shooting towards the surface of the dark planet. Very beautiful.

Purchases or rentals (as applicable) from iTunes Store available to you only in the United States only and are not available in any other location. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Store from outside of the available territory. Apple may use technologies to verify such compliance


it comes up whenever i try to purchase songs / redeem itunes gift codes.

should we be concerned with this ? for now, i only click on "cancel", and abort my purchases.

Well, as of now there is no enforcement yet. And hopefully will not cause Apple can always check based on our IP address. Let say Malaysia IP access iTunes USA store will alert the system cut us off OUCH!

let me give you a little hint on why it is necessary for apple (or similar corporation) to put a disclaimer like this.


just try relating on why it is necessary to have different regional codes for dvd etc (for example region 2 for europe) and different theatrical launching dates worldwide


to put a disclaimer like this, merely lets apple off the hook momentarily (as they want to profit as well and appeal to a bigger market), but doesn't mean that apple isn't liable.

if apple really goes on to "verify" us users based on location and cut us off, then our itunes credits are as good as gone, i suppose ..

Added on September 14, 2008, 2:37 amRestoring the second time from the first restore after Firmware 2.1, and on the iTunes 8 Capacity meter at the bottom of the screen, I could have sworn I see a 5th type, called "Apps" colored green. But after the second restore, it is gone? Have it been absorbed into the "Other" type?

When you have the new iTunes visualizer open for more control options:
? -- Toggle help screen
M -- Change mode
P -- Change palette
I -- Display track info
C -- Toggle auto-cycle (on by default)
F -- Toggle Freeze mode
N -- Toggle Nebula mode
L -- Toggle Camera Lock

Yup itunes8 + fw2.1 = new capacity meter with apps added. One thing also the increment of size when we transfer stuff shown in real time.

holy crap ipod touch 32GB only RM1629? the older generation 32GB is RM1999 at machine which i saw it 2 weeks ago.

ipod is getting cheaper and affordable.

The 1st gen is always a premium to pay. Its for their R&D, after that then it will get cheaper and cheaper.

having some hardtime to find album artwork with itun8.0 . anybody has the same problem ?
