QUOTE(neekun @ Sep 14 2008, 07:30 AM) Check out the following tips for new visualizer in iTunes 8: Awesome! More controls over the elements in the visualizer is always welcomed. "Toggel Nebula mode"? I wonder if you can create more planets or increase the size of the single planet birthed, so that I can see the light streaks hit it better? When you have the new iTunes visualizer open for more control options: ? -- Toggle help screen M -- Change mode P -- Change palette I -- Display track info C -- Toggle auto-cycle (on by default) F -- Toggle Freeze mode N -- Toggle Nebula mode L -- Toggle Camera Lock QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Sep 14 2008, 12:53 PM) @String Yup, I got that fixed on mine. It was acting up initially, but I get a green "Apps" bar on the capacity meter now. Yup itunes8 + fw2.1 = new capacity meter with apps added. One thing also the increment of size when we transfer stuff shown in real time. QUOTE(Masamune @ Sep 14 2008, 01:29 PM) Really sucks for ppl that just bought an ipod... That is why I always keep up on which Apple products are about, or due for a refresh. For casual buyers who do not really care that their products are about to be refreshed, it does not affect them, but to those who do care, then this link is important to check if your potential purchase is about to get replaced by a new procut refresh:-Then found out better and cheaper ones are coming...LOL.. http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/ Always be in the know, knowledge is power. |

How do I sync selected photos in a folder to my iPhone? At the moment I have to create another folder and duplicate those photos there for iTunes to sync, which is stupid. Is there a workaround?

its not stupid actually when it helps you to organize your pictures up.
why not you just make a folder and select the ones u want and sync? and trust me the more the pictures are in the folder the more mess up it will be |

Thanks for the advice.why not you just make a folder and select the ones u want and sync? and trust me the more the pictures are in the folder the more mess up it will be But lets say I have photos taken during my son's birthday. There are photos of adults, kids, etc. I only want to sync the kids' photos into my iPhone. I don't want any photos of the adults in my iPhone. Yet I don't want to create another folder just for this. I want to maintain the big birthday folder in my computer without deleting or relocating any photos there. Is that possible? If it is, how do I do it? Can it be done in iTunes or do I need a 3rd party software? Do I have to SSH? |

QUOTE(Bernard Yeo @ Nov 14 2008, 01:25 PM) Thanks for the advice. i never heard of any 3rd party software which enables you to do that and you cannot bypass itunes to do that (common sense, will tell you why)But lets say I have photos taken during my son's birthday. There are photos of adults, kids, etc. I only want to sync the kids' photos into my iPhone. I don't want any photos of the adults in my iPhone. If it is, how do I do it? Can it be done in iTunes or do I need a 3rd party software? Do I have to SSH? there is only one feasible method which i can think of; is to create another folder and duplicating desired pictures into that separate folder and during synchronisation, tick that folder. |

Thats why I never sync photos to my iPhone. To much hassle to create duplicate photos where my concern is on limited HD space. Sumore when it sync, it will create another folder containing different size of the pictures to serve as a cache when u need to re-sync the pics. That folder can be even bigger than the original size of the pics folder.
