You meant soxworld/sawks avenue?
Well, u probably can ask the salesperson to open the packet for inspection to check the features.
My gf started wearing hosiery whenever she's wearing dress or skirt that are short to reduce the 'exposure'.
But she has sensitive skin thus she felt very itchy with certain types of tights, I'm not sure what causes the itchiness but I'm thinking of getting her something that won't trigger the itchiness, any suggestion?
And she likes the 5-toed tights that can be worn with slippers but it's hard to get it.
Btw, she thinks it's weird to wear tights with shorts. She doesn't like the idea of having something in between her legs twice, ie, tights n shorts.
Well, the sample the sales lady shown me has nice crotch design , but after I got home and torn open the packages (much later when I wanted to wear), I noticed it did not have a crotch design.. a bit annoyed.Well, u probably can ask the salesperson to open the packet for inspection to check the features.

Allergic reaction, you might to wash it first before starts wearing, some treated with chemical and dye, those stuff certainly can bring on itch for sensitive skin.

anyway, I met a lady flying from s'pore a few weeks back, have some interesting tale to tell, will write later..
(updated--)
anyway, a bit of break from my hectic works..
a few weeks ago, i took a flight from s'pore that was quite full . So happen that i got the last row of seat. Ths couple , around late 40s happened to be seated next to me. Funny part was, I was initially seated between them, because they were on connecting flight on standby to take up the flight I was in , their actual flight was much later . The wife willingly gave me aisle seat so that she could be seated next to her husband at window side.
I was in s'pore for a week long meeting with a customer, as usual , I decided to slip off my formal working suit before flying off with something more comfortable.. a pair of knee length shorts with oversize t-shirt, a pair of ankle socks with casual canvas . As for this lady, she was wearing long waist hugging dress , almost below knee, interestingly , with sun tan color pantyhose. She was pretty good shape for her age, my guess was mid to late 40s..
anyway , so a conversation started when she complimented about the sheer and glossy look of the pantyhose I was wearing and asked me if it was branded and expensive . I told her it was a normal US brand (Hanes) not too expensive . She asked me if I was involved in performance works like dancing or on the way to dance class after the flight. I politely told her that it was support hose and part of my formal working clothes.
Then she told me it's rare to find ladies that appreciate pantyhose these days, including her own two daughters that are teenagers , prefer to go bare legs even going to formal functions like wedding or gatherings.
She told me, being 20s durin her time in 80 and early 90s, pantyhose was part of daily dress, even she and her husband ran their own business (a wholesaler), when she was teenager, she could not even wait but wanting to be grown up , to wear nice dresses, to make up , to slip into a pair of pantyhose and high heel to graduate into womanhood, to hang out late..
She explained to me the reason why she asked me if I was a dancer because usually only dancers are used to wear hose around. She even told me she had been attending aerobic dance classes since her 20s , and never missed it for a week despite many such classes come and go , in 80-90s, pantyhose was usually integral part of aerobic dance wear.
Then I asked her if she still wear hose to dance class these days, she told me she still wears them all them, but main difference is, she does not wear those single piece leotard anymore (like swimsuit) , but instead opted for two piece bra top and shorts that made it easier to visit loo , and pantyhose usually keeps her leg warm at all time. She grumbled young ladies of today hardly want to do physical exercise , for her , doing exercise actually kept her young.
Just before we parted, she asked me to take a guess her age, I tried to be polite by saying around 45, but she told me she was coming to 51.. amazing..
i found this nostalgic video of 80-90s..
