pantyhose is good, especially when you're in cold offices, can keep yr leg warm... it does make a difference from not wearing any.. and am not toking bout legging or leg warmer those sort..

but to find a good one is a challenge for me...i like pretty polly, but i cant seem to find it here... i got my last 2 pairs from a spree here... and i'm actually interested in getting another few more pairs. their stockist is actually in the UK, so if anyone is doin any spree on this, lemme know

since so many argue dat pantyhose r getting common nowadays, i would really like to know when was ur first time wearing them and for wat...? cos i juz know lotsa girls dat neva wear them b4, i mean up to 23 yrs old.

i think it's only common among OL...not so much on teenagers or young adults... maybe for those who attend functions

yea, dat an example, u wore them cos u needed to, not u wanted to... then why ppl say dat pantyhose is getting common?? i haven't notice it yet or maybe i'm slow? nowadays everyone(young girls) r into leggings and those opaque tights onli, pantyhose ermm... onli like u said, OLs. and dats quite rare too.

i think wat ckmoy said was partly true... young girls nowadays are more interested in tights and leggings, but not pantyhose except for OLs which is also quite rare. I think the main reason is because of the culture and weather in malaysia. Girls r not used to wearing pantyhose, cos it's hot and some says looks very granny... but vice versa in europe, girls have been wearing them since they are young. so it's no big deal to them. as for granny looks i think it's cos of the poor quality hosiery sold in m'sia, those that i wear(made in europe) doesn't make u look granny but instead a very smooth and elegant look. but of course the price is different as well. I myself started to wear pantyhose for the first when i was 18, when i going for a part time job interview, it was hot and uncomfortable(made in china pantyhose) unlike the euros one. it's true it will be hot wearing pantyhose if u walking under the sun, but i think even without pantyhose, it'll still be hot to walk under the sun. So, now i normally wear them 20den pantyhose to an air-conditioned environment or at night to clubs. basically i think pantyhose gives me a more positive effect than negative...

nah, it wasnt coz i needed to, i wanted to... coz i feel, by wearing pantyhose, it acts like a protective layer to the skin, the classrooms are really cold.. >_<

even thou the weather here is hot n humid, u wont sweat that much by wearing pantyhose, unless, leggings,..that's just crazy..

purplecrystal. where did u went for college? i feel that everytime i wear pantyhose, ppl will look at me like it's so strange. i seldom met college girls in malaysia wearing pantyhose. if in europe, i understand la, cos it's common here.
BTW, anybody here tried 'Wolford' brand or any other branded pantyhose before? i tried once bought in UK during sales, it's a patterned pantyhose actually. wat i can say is quality is superb.

I am curious are pantyhose suppose to be worn together with undergarments as i check wikipedia it says without undergarments. Won't it feel too tight? Also it is easy to damage the pantyhose when you wear it as the toe figernail might scratch it.

pantyhose with undergarment or not this things i think depends on personal 1 lo... some do n some don't... correct me if i m wrong ... good quality pantyhose will not scartch easily but also have 2 make sure that ur finger nail is smooth n even... guls,m i right?

i think most girls wear pantyhose with undergarments. unless they want to get naughty . at least i personally wear pantyhose with undergarment. i guess u never wear pantyhose before, right?
some pantyhose tears/runs very easily, especially the low quality and thin ones. the thicker, the harder to tear. thickness of pantyhose are counted as DEN. in Malaysia, usually is 7-15 den. very thin... usually i wear 20 den. if cold then 40 or more.

if wear pantyhose without undergarments i think will feel weird weird like tat lo since itz so thin (base on my imagination )... higher DEN means thicker so the lower DEN means more easy 2 tear/run/scratch??? or it depends on the quality but not thickness? agree what u said, good quality hose looks more attractive and durable. better than those made in china stuffs. n sometimes can easily c the diff even with bare eye

basically higher DEN is thicker or can call it opaque when it is not the see thru type. lower DEN are thinner and runs easily if not careful. Durability of hosiery depends on both quality and thickness which depends on material used to make them... Some uses extra Lycra which gives it more durability and more stretchable. Most important is comfort... ah hong, you are a guy or girl if you don't mind telling?

yea, tried wearing to club a patterned hose from wolford with a little black dress. looks very nice cos quality is gud. got lotsa stares, gud and bad ones, u know what i mean. but i feel more comfortable and confident wearing that, haha. european hosiery are absolutely top class. except for those low class ones dat r for grannies, lol. do u experience this kind of situation too?
