Australian unit need to pay the unlocking fees. AUD80 if not mistaken. After that only it will be fully unlock for other sim.

iphone2008, i registered mine with stinktel, but i only inserted the maxis card back inn jaybee
at 1st also no service, my balls immediately shurnk, go throught the settings everything and woila... abt 1 minute or so, my maxis pop up

Mine ori univ dock fits wth iphone 3g. U just need to use one of the supplied dock adaptors which comes with the universal dock.

yeah. whilst i was in the mrt station, we all waited for more than 10minutes and tried numerous methods but all the efforts were futile.

Putting a foreign sim in the phone where it was activated with singtel, of course it wont work for the first time. Thats why u can only get the signal when in JB. It kept on searching for singtel and then latches to maxis. U might need to restore and activate with your sim la nokia.

how la to restore in the mrt station?

I think probably the problem your Maxis SIM card is not registered for international roaming..

I mean when u are at home la. Restore and activate with your own sim card.

i always traveled with the very same SIM card when i'm abroad. besides, i entered singapore with my first gen iphone and SingTel was selected automatically.

Maxis suck...hahahahahah...
