You may try asking them to order though... but it will probably be priced higher than the resellers here.

there are a number of forumer which sells Gainward cards like lehteck, zhen wei and karom. do check in Garage Sales under display cards

glad to hear that is not card problem...

some minor artifact occur that i discover ,when:
-crysis using dx10/veryhigh,fullaa,no matter what res , it show "white pixel dot"
-grid ugly shadow
-gears of war if on dx10 and aa,game crash; using dx9 or off aa , solve~

I am getting blackouts on CAT 8.8.

Anyone here using CAT 8.7 on HD4850 GS and NOT experiencing any blackouts?

i know and i plan to buy from either 1 of them.. but i wan to know how to claim if somthing faulty

I am using Gainward 3850 512MB

Running @ default fan speed: Idle 45-50C, Max load so far: 82C

I notice the stock fan is noisy if >25% fan speed

Any comments?

No. I havent change the fan speed. Hehe, actually I also dono how to set it yet. Using Auto-tune now.

wow, everyone seems to talk about the blackout case..

hope mine is fine, havent try it out with crysis and devil may cry 4 yet. I played COD4 and Vegas 2 and it's all fine to me. but i dont know why sometimes i play COD4, my game will be lag, but it's very rare.

maybe because im using 2gb ram only.

Just send back to the Local Distributor or the seller that u buy the card from...

I see many ppl buy Gainward 4850. How about IceQ4? I saw it at retail shop which looks very nice too. Well of coz it is slower.

OK after all the long fuss about my problem.. I finally got my card back, fixed and running.

I can't be happier to see Crysis and DMC4 ran soo nicely but I haven't tried gaming yet. Class is at 8AM. I'm tired now.

I would verify my card now as problem-free till my next problematic-related-post which I hope not to have.
