I'm going with a friend to Bandung in Aug (tickets booked de)

We are looking for cheap supir to get us around and save time.

Can someone give some contacts for a supir with the prices they charged?

I see some say 350k some 400k some 300k... Got any difference like vehicle or time?

TQ!

driver attitudes and insights you need to take into account as well as the best service so that you are not useless to spend more money to get better.

I'm going with a friend who goes often so we arn't too worried in finding places to go to. More of a driver who will be there when needed, and drives reasonably quickly. And doesn't sesat jalan. Very important. biggrin.gif
10AM to 11pm roughly.

Suggestions anyone? Can PM me also if you rather.

yes, mostly is imitation. if you want to buy cheap original item, go to polo ralph lauren, nike factory store, and toko tiga for levis.
*
Polo ralph lauren is fake too. I bought a few shirts from there, after a few wash the shirt tend to expand.
Now my shrits are 1 size larger then the original after a few wash.
I've compared with the ones sold in kl, the quality is big difference.

Price wise, I bought it for RM80 per shirt in bandung compared to RM400+ here in kl.

if u have facebook, u can add this supir. Angga Bandung supir ...

i used his service twice last year. nice service. angga is the boss, u can ask for pak hardi. coz pak hardi is really an experienced supir. friendly, knew all the road from bandung to jakarta, nice person. didnt know if pak hardi still working for him or not. u can ask, no harm. coz for my second trip, i didnt ask for pak hardi, he gave me a young supir, not really experienced, i need to use my gps in jakarta. haha.

about his price, cheapest among all supir. we use avanza and suzuki apv.. time, can say 12 hours la. but bandung to jakarta different charge yeah. in bandung only really cheap.

What clothes? Many of the ralph lauren, burberry, fred perry are fake. I didnt buy any of the fake shirt there. Just bought a cheap quiksilver shirts at sogo, paris van java mall. Got sale at that time. 1shirt can get rm40 only.

If u wanna buy clothes at factory outlet, rm300 maybe enough. Mind u, the branded one all fake. Go to toko tiga to buy genuine levis. 1pair of levis can get for rm140. For ladies, rm300 also enough. Nice blouse at jesse james, secret..

If u want to buy kain for kebaya, that one is cheap. Rm30 at pasar baru.

i didnt care about brand as long the fabric material is nice to wear. not a brand enthuasists, also not so low to buy pasar malam bundle standard.
kind of uniqlo standard should be fine with me though...

my wife probably snatch dozen of kain for women jubah, baju kurung etc..

here's what we plan so far (other suggestion are welcomed)
1st day: shopping clothes etc...
2nd day: gunung tangkuban perahu
3rd day: kirim2 shopping, then going to Jakarta on the evening

beside gunung tangkuban, is there any interesting places for site seeing?

i recommend going to kawah putih. absolutely beautiful! for me tangkuban perahu is not that satisfying because there's nothing else to see. just one big kawah. unless if you want to go to kawah dormas or kawah ratu

for kain pasang, prices are from 80,000 rupiah. the more you buy, the cheaper you can get.

Another site seeing is kawah putih. But doubt u can visit these two places in a day. Coz tangkuban perahu located on north bandung, and kawah putih located on south bandung. On the way back to bandung from tangkuban, u can visit strawberry farm and have ur lunch at Kg Daun. Nice restaurant. A bit pricey.

U can visit Pasar Baru to buy kain jubah and baju kurung. Really cheap. But kain pelikat is not cheap there. My dad bought one for rm20. Here at mydin, same kain pelikat only rm16. Haha.

U can visit the factory outlet. Located at jalan riau and jalan dago. For me, i prefer jalan riau. Thats just me. The shirts are more up-to-date. Jessie james and secret. U can visit paris van java mall, or chihampelas walk.

Enjoy ur vacay..

Hi there, I just came back from Bandung. I had a nice and well planned trip in Bandung thanks to Andra Ren Tour.
For those who are going to Bandung soon, I highly recommend Andra Ren Tour. His tour package is cheap and cover most of the popular places in Bandung. The tour guide, aka the boss, Angga is a very patient and good man. He took nice photographs too! And the most importantly, he gave us discounts although we ended the tour late.

U guys can find his tour package here: http://www.andrarentour.web.id/home

Have fun in Bandung! laugh.gif

Sorry for the late testimonial! hehehe. been busy with lots of works and personal stuffs.

Booked an Air Asia flight for me and my parents to Bandung from 31 Jan to 4 Feb. Searched for ground arrangement with travel agents and the price quoted was too much for my budget. Did a search through LYN and found this thread and another one about Bandung in general. Lots of possitive comments from fellow forumers so proceeded to contact Angga through fb. Deal was done smoothly without a single hassle.

Arrived at Bandung and was greeted by Angga himself. The transport was ready so no need to wait for anything. I arrived at 11pm so it was quite late and straight to the hotel. I asked if he wants the money now but he said it can wait until tomorrow morning because it quite late at night and want me and my family to have a nice rest first. THUMBS UP!

Stayed at Hotel Grand Serela, Setiabudhi. Angga said there's another better hotel but due to peak season all was fully booked. My hotel does not dissappoint me at all! Great room, great environment, great and soft spoken staffs and the most important part, Delicious breakfast!

Angga was so helpful during our stay over there. Guided to the best places that money can offer and catter to all of our needs. We do not have to worry about a single thing including security over there because Angga was spot on on every single thing.

the people over there were also very welcoming and respectful to you. And the weather was a great escape from the hot Malaysia's weather.

overall its a great experience and we already planning for another visit before Ramadan and another safari trip with my friend.

to my fellow forumers who is looking for a great experience in Bandung should take a look at this Tour company.

Cheers! rclxms.gif

Just came back from Bandung today and it was a pleasant, enjoyable and memorable trip! was there for 4D3N.

Thanks to the well-planned itinery trip by Angga from Andra Ren Tour (I decided to go with Angga after reading good reviews by other forumers and was glad to have followed all the recommendations here - special thanks to forumer, VincentYu008 for the advices biggrin.gif ).

For a stress-free and worry-free Bandung tour, I would highly recommend Angga. thumbup.gif You just inform the places you want to visit and he will arrange them for you. He is very helpful, respectful and suggested places which are cheaper. As i was travelling with my mum, he followed and guided us to Tangkuban Perahu and Kawah Putih. We felt secured with him around. And during the last day, he made a last minute detour as my mum wanted to eat local satay. Thanks, Angga! icon_rolleyes.gif

Do check out Floating Market - nice place and it has local food sold on sampans. For shopping, enjoyed Rumah Mode but it was jam-packed during weekend.

For all those considering a supir or tour in Bandung, you can check out Angga on www.andrarentour.web.id.
