I bought this 360 console from a forumer.. and its moded.. then i tried the 1 month XBOX LIVE Gold membership that he never used although i did know the risk.. but luckily i managed to get through.. but the duration finished.. its like im really stuck with LIVE now.. so can anybody help me to put the risk to 0% of getting banned from xbox live?

If you want to mod it back to the original firmware, i think i can help you with it. But no guarantee that it will solve your problem since there is no valid proof to how M$ detect modded consoles.

i dun think you can unmod a modded console. plus you've been to XBL already. MS has kept a record of your hardware configuration in the server. so once you (if you can) downgraded your DVD ROM firmware and connect to XBL, the system will check automatically and ban the console as the records is not the same from what they have.

best solution, buy another 360.

Some firmware let them run backup online but i wont elaborate much and i wont entertain any pm about how to do and what to do becos i just know there is a firmware like that only. Too bad the ex-user din tell u the risk.

I still remember when we last COD at ampang park before , u told me that ur 360 modded & u playing it via xboxlive...i said better "hati-hati" cause someday and somehow u will get banned...now u know why rite...

best option is to sell the console and get a new one. you can try PM tech2 if he takes trade in. like technophile said he's selling the new 60gb for Rm1280...

Depending on which modded firmware you have, you should worry more about getting 3ROD rather than getting the banhammer.

...for now at least.

not really. so far MS known way to detect is from the disc, not firmware.
so if you only playing original disc, the hacked firmware will act like original firmware, thus reducing your chance to be detected.

thats wrong. u CAN flash back the original firmware, provided u have a backup copy of the orig.bin, or u get it from net somewhere since it is illegal to distribute the firmware.

even if what u said is true that ms did record your hardware conf or whatever shit, when u flash back the original firmware, there is no way to detect the change (as per the time im typing this msg) yet.



it can be done already. extract the key and use the key on a spoof drive.
just that it doesnt worth the money yet.
