i hv 1 question.. my ram bought from bro dblooi.. can clock to 1066mhz using p35 chipset. i've tried several time but cant clock 1000MHz n more with my setup.. the closest i can get is 969Mhz (stable) but 1000mhz will hang up at window start up.. is that bcos a limitation of my mobo or something else?

at 969mhz is 1.95V. it should be able to clock to 1000mhz at stock voltage (according to bro db) i already ask him but just want different opinion.. already loose the timing to 5-5-5-16 26-2t.. tras only can get 16 coz bug with my mobo.. (always 2t lower than the set value) latest bios also dont fix this.. afraid to try modded bios..

Hard to say bro.
It depends on Intel or AMD system.

If bro dblooi can achieve that in the Intel system, you will need higher vDimm in AMD system.

that wat he say too..amd sometimes really hard to achieved 1000mhz.. hmm.. ive tried 2.1v but fail orthos after 15min.. afraid to go higher coz might burn the ram.. is there any possibility that my mobo is the cause?

it depends on how gud d imc of your chip too. other than this, it could be ya board (chipset) issue. smile.gif

in bios the got  ram setting for  400/533/667/800  we call ram divider

EDIT :: if both setting use ram 800mhz divider
           250 x 12 = ram speed is 1000mhz
           231 x 13 = ram speed is 858mhz

need to know more bout dis..... notworthy.gif
does it need to be same speed as cpu clock?? notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

If I were you, I rather make my HSF run 100% than my processor high temp.

with same speed proc ..the higher ram speed is much better performance

250 x 12 = ram speed is 1000mhz
231 x 13 = ram speed is 858mhz

u can try SPI 1M with both setting u can see the different
