Hor seh or not, don't know, but as said before even we suspect tehnical rebound is on the card as in my earlier post, do you dare to take the risk in the first place? a wrong foot miss by several hours, might lead to losses of more than 5-10% in current market condition. So this is not a good time to speculate. Long term investment, yes, potentially good opportunity.

Yes, I share the same view, 180 billions will provide temporarily relief, but it can't solve the problem. The only thing that can solve the problem is time and market correct itself.

Inside info:

there is some problem now in the market .In FX market, I can see between banks are holding very tightly on their USD reserve. It never happen before. In short it means there may have a global money or USD liquidity issue or if when the market is down there will have not enough money from the major player to support the market.

It is not suprise if US market higher with 200-300 points with short squeezed and today start of curbing of naked short selling.

good for old fox like you, but for those newbies who short FKLI, they might be sobbing at a corner now.

Not only IOI, KLK as well, first look in the morning 8.55/8.60, close at 9.30. Even tell my family member about it.

Added on September 18, 2008, 5:25 pmAt the end of the month, FKLI = cash market (KLCI). Who shorted FKLI just now at low 970s would have incur a loss of 20-30 points. So if you would like to keep this position open, you will have to top up your margin first.

Yes, the minimum margin is 4000 ringgit per lot. You can close your position at anytime.

I almost bought it at 8.90... dont buy dont buy...

Not good at all, none of the commercial banks want to lend. A big credit crunch forcing the central banks to sell dollar like crazy. Also, if the jobless claims number is bad, watch for fed to keep printing to support the market.
