hi can anyone tell me where i can get good quality pellets in ipoh? or perhaps anywhere else online?

2day i was released 2 batch 4 days old of my baby betta to the pond...hopefully i do the right things...tomorrow another 2 batch will follow the earlier batch....i estimate around 1000 baby betta was hatched on my 1st breeding trial....dunno how many betta will survive...

Hi, it's interesting to read this section.. it makes me wanted to keep a betta fish.. just wondering anyone from kajang? or nearby?

p/s: im just a beginner... and just realized betta have alot of types lol !! no wonder i found out alot of ppl selling betta
expensively.. i just want to buy those cheap betta learning to keep it 1st. I dont want to put out more than RM10 just for a betta starter

hi semua...saya orang baru :geek: ...just nak kongsi minat n pengalaman dengan semua peminat betta....2 minggu yang lepas saya berjaya membiakkan fry dari 4 pasang betta....1 pasang ct and 3 pasang veil tail....spawning dalam akurium plastik yang kecik2 je...banyak giler2 fry tu...kala campur semua tu, saya rasa ada dalam 1000 lebih cket...memang banyak dan betul2 buat saya hepi.. :dance: ...selepas 3 hari..saya masih biarkan mereka ngan papa mereka masing2....tak bagi makan pun...hari ke 4 saya bagi makan kuning telur...nampaknya tak ada yang mati.... ....pas tu...hari ke 7 saya pisahkan papa mereka...fry2 tu saya pindahkan ke dalam tangki fiber seluas 1.5m x 1m x 1m....air saya isi dalam lebih kurang sejengkal je...dalam tu saya dah siapkan awal2 dengan rerumput air dan juga lumut2 menghijau beserta rumpai2 air...soryy..tak tau nak sebut nama dia...nak minta pandangan semua...ok ke apa yang saya buat tu....?? :?: setakat ni bila di suluh pada waktu malam...kelihatan fry masih ada berenang2...*waktu siang payah nak tgk fry tu walaupun air kelihatan sangat jernih...keladak semua dah mengenap kat dasar tank...malam kena suluh lampu baru nampak...kecil lagi la katakan...lagipun masing2 menyorok di sebalik rumpai2 air tu....tu yang payah nak tengok tu....dlm tank tu saya cuma bagi makan dgn menitiskan makanan betta dewasa plus kuning telur yang dikisar halus dan di larutkan dalam air...Bole ke....??? :?: . agak2 ada tak mikrob lain dalam tu yang bole dimakan pleh ry2 tu? bagi saya bila suluh n ada lagi fry2 tu bermaksud mereka hidup lagi dan bole cari makanan sendiri....ada harapan membesar....

aiyoo.. go to nearest petshop la.. the price depend on the quality of the betta.. from rm2 - rmxxxx...

just buy 2 betta from nearst pet shops..wanna buy a female also buy cant see a quality 1...hope to found a great female for my betta soon

Hmmm, any sifu here mind to help? the setup of the Betta Fish tank need how much galons of water? and etc?

i just bought 2 female and 1 male betta... they seems cant eat pellet food... i giv them, they bite then vomit it out then bite then vomit again.. and the 2 female they dont even take a bite... how >.< scare they will hunger to death...

the best condition for water tank, u must put indian almonds leaf ( daun ketapang )

i'm also wondering where i can get the leaf in kampar or ipoh. any ideas?

Kampar have alot of the trees but the leaves doesnt look that suitable to be used for fishes

Bought 10 female betta

Only 2 manage to survive ..

Question to ask ..

1 . How come my male betta nest breaks from day to day , and he has to rebuild it ?

2 . A female betta release its egg , even before spawning ? How come is this so .. *was separeted in a transparent container from the male as an introduction*

3 . What is the water PH level , temperature for breeding betta ? different source gave me different value , so I am confuse

can i know wht is the water temp for ikan lage??
can keep it in air-cond room??

hey, anyone know why my fish didn't built bubble nest.
Just started to rare two week ago.
One the first week bubble nest built but now no more.
WHY?

Added on February 1, 2010, 11:54 ami'm not a professional betta keeper but i'll try my best to answer your questions base on my little experiences
(just to share some infos)


1. that's normal that it has to build again and again, the good thing is that shows your betta is a healthy male betta and ready to breed

2. if im not mistaken, that means the female betta is ready to lay her eggs but the male is not ready with bubble nest yet.

3. water ph about 7 or slightly lower. using RO water (reverse osmosis water) together with ketapang leaves is also good with bettas.

Hi All, i want to ask, do u all when using the ketapang leaf experience of it attracts ants before ?

Cause everytime after i had soak it in boil water, then let it cool down abit i only used, but always within a few days, i can see some ants over my betta tank.
