QUOTE(spirit of demon @ Mar 13 2009, 03:49 AM) erm, normally they are inactive at night, as they need to rest.. for ur case.. i m not sure.. if the fish are newly bought, if the fish showing bar on the body and colour fade away.. they fish consider stress.. get some ketapang leave for him and put him under a place that only have a dim light or no light at all.. nope... not newly bought... more than 1 month already.... everything seems normal and he is eating well... does it mean when the tank is lit up with lights, bettas will usually go active??... coz i put him in a small planted tank, hence i switch on the lights at nite for the plants to grow.... yes i do notice he is more active when lights are switched on... is active good or no good??..

@spirit I start with juv la.. Cant afford for the lost if i start with the adult. Sex still unsure as the juv only 2 months old. Importing a 2 x 1 feet tank for my two juv soon. Yea.. Usually those adult with no brooding experience will swallow the eggs. But it does has alot of reason which cause the male swallow the egg like being stressed. Your the spirit from BSM right? U can see my mac journey at BSM for the pic. @xUeki U can get the starter kit from betta4u.com bro. This post has been edited by fylon: Mar 16 2009, 11:54 PM

@Spirit How many mac fries are u having at the moment now? Oh yea.. Am using 2feet tank also. Haha.. 2*1*1.. Around 55little water. But for 2 fries, i think the tank way too HUGE. @the_catacombs Aint sure for show betta, but for wild type. Yes, water parameter plays a big role. Slightly something went wrong with the water, the fish will tell u with showing abnormal symptom.

@spirit Woah.. Big mac colony man.. But from ur pic, u do have adult mac right? Btw, can all ur fries live peacefully? Mine i dont think they can. My fries seems to have some strange move. I got 2 fries at the moment, 1 big and 1 small. From what i observed during feeding time, the bigger one always chase away the smaller one by open its big mouth and flaring at it. And almost took all the food that i put it. The pity small fries only eat once after the big 1 got full and swim away.
