Yo guys, start to get excited in breeding a Betta for personal hobbies. Anyways, got a question here. (Might be quite a dumb question, ) I just wander, are Betta's tail flaring up high all the time? Or just in certain situation than it flare?

Btw guys, dumb question.. Was wander will betta bite? I mean if we put our finger into the tank.

Hahaha.. Dont get mad guys.. I really wander about this thus i asked. Am going to get 1 or 2 betta 2mrw. Dated Mr. Ling frm BSM to go his house and pick the fish since he is selling off some of his nice fish for cheap price. Anyone from kuching if wanted to go, do PM me. We go together.

Btw guys, can i feed my fish my mosquito larva? If can then that is easy to culture.

Yea.. Been told by the fish seller as well. Just he advise me to mix around the fish dish. Maybe once a while give raw food. But i think it still better to stick with pellet.

COD man.. Is quite risky on doing postage for living creature. It could die at any time.

Yea.. Actually betta is a tough fish and good to be keep as pet. It dont really need equips like water pump or to ensure their life. Further more, they can take alot of food as well.

IMO, it is about how the owner keep them.

P/s: I take couple weeks of time to read and research before i lay my hand on my current fish.

Btw, regarding to the water.. Is that really salt needed to be add in? I plan to pick up some ketapang leaf nearby by house as my fish spa.

Haha.. Btw, u found CT on ur place? I hardly see any at my site here.. Mostly are the normal Veil tail type.. Even HM also need to find breeder then can have it.

Buy online is quite risk and the betta might got stressed up during transportation or worse case might cause to death. Btw, u may try visit BSM. Quite alot of seller over there.. U might can get the one that nearby ur place for COD.

Guys.. When to the look alike ketapang tree that nearby house and pick up some leafs. But i wander are these leaf is the real katapang leaf? Well, i still keep the leaf and yet put into my tank. Just need to confirm awhile. I do see some nuts grown on the tree. But just not so sure. Picture as below. Please !

Yea.. That i know, but i just wanna make sure whether is that ketapang leaf or not. Btw, my fish seems to act weird. I just have water changed and put the fish into a better tank with small rock on the bottom of the tank.

But my fish keep on flaring all the time when i put it in the new tank. And act aggressive. Is that normal? Or the fish got stress?

Flare it self! Haha.. I only have 1 fish at the moment. Just it happened after i changed the water. Quite few.. It like suddenly swim here and there aggressively then stop and flare. And it flare for quite some time and move then other place then flare again. Just it keep on flaring none stop.

Thanks for feedback bro. But I dont think that is the problem as that location were the place i put the fish at days ago. And before that it ain't have problem before. That is the weird part. But anyways, have drop the ketapang leaf in already, see how was the fish goes.. Hopefully the stress of new tank deco will go off.

P/s: HM realy hard to take care as its fin is the hardest part!

Guys.. Thanks for all ya advises on my betta case. Had just gotten a piece of Ketapang from friend of mine and I cut a small piece and dump in the tank last night before i went to sleep.

This morning when i get up, my betta is building a big spawn of bubble nest! Before that, my betta didnt make any bubble nest. Is a good sign? Haha.. Any the condition is much more better now.. Guess my fish got stressed. Going to remove all the rocks on the next water change.

P/s: Oh yea.. Any suggestion of good pellet to intro? My fish dont seems like the pellet i bought. Put into 10 it like only take 3-4 and after that it will just go off. Quite worry the fish will suffer hunger and wont grow up.
