the main reason for me to get a chipset cooler is cuz i want to be able to increase the vmch and vpll w'o much concern of ruining the mobo
is it really necessary actually? *u tell me =P*

u might wanna dis Here<-- and tht was an expensive asus motherboard. for me, i'm also looking for 1 NB cooler.noctua nowadays nobody sell it already.my only choice is only the deepcool Nbridge8 and HR05 IFX. i'm using P35 chipset, for me,after 400FSB above the NB becomes too hot to touch(never increase voltage yet). correct. i "was" using ip35E myself .... a p35 chipset too until recently it went for RMA wen i was trying to push more than 400fsb i slowly increased the other V available but on passive cooling for the chipset i tink that was the reason dat spoilt my mobo so now im being more cautious and would like to learn more above chipset cooling @ k!nex great link~

erm....actually i am quite confused myself about the NB temp limit cos i have seen 3 opinions so far... one saying that better to keep ur Nb below 45c or it will cause instability... another saying that it is ok already if u can keep it at around 50-ish.... lastly is a comment that i have seen from senior forummer saying that it is capable of withstanding temp till 70c or so... but just to tell u, my DK software always show my mobo Nb running at 50ish...n use till so far it dont have problems yet n my mobo always run more than 400fsb

im not sure whether i have a sensor for my NB but by physical touch....its quiet hot
i've compared it wen its "cold"..."warm" and "hot" state there is significant difference.
so wat is actually the safe limit for NB temp & Vmch?

i have to agree with k!nex... my maximus nb will cause instability if above 47 or so..... when below that temp.... no problem at all....

i jes found out that NB shudn't be above 60'ish is this mobo dependent? meaning to say diff mobo give diff NB reading at same condition *provided they use the same cooling* anyways.....abit spam here SELAMAT HARI RAYA.....MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN

depends la.... kw got bling but ccf got no bling.....
n built quality wise, i can say kw is alot more better than ccf....its more solid....
n kw also less likely to be clash with heatsinks around it... but one thing to note here, KW is not small itself....it surprised me when i first saw the size....
installation wise, i still rate kw ahead of ccf altho there are some feedback saying its hard to install....
unistallation, nothing beats ccf so far.....just pull the 4 pins with ur fingers n then u are ready to take it out.......
