I got 1 question.. I use Stereo's leopard as my theme in Winterboard. Hence i do install 2 apps from Cydia->section->themes apps.. There are 2 installed app in winterboard namely "Glass sms".. It suppose to change my sms look.. How come it won't? I had select "Glass sms" in winterboard.. y?

Hey sugen, try this.
Move/Swap the sms themes by selecting the the 3 lines on your right screen in winterboard and place the theme as first priority.

After some googling, only i release that Winterboard work in sequence.. I had put it on the first priority(before my main theme), however it is still not working... I am using biteSMS.. is this the cause for it not to work.. But, i check on the Original SMS.. Is the same thing also...hmn... wonder y..

I have bitesms and my sms themes works well with the default sms app.

What you can do is to try to select your sms theme only and see if it works in winterboard. Then you can select the rest of your themes after.

but what about images????? i cant seem to transfer pictures to the photo library

guys, i been searching ways to change my lock screen. still cannot with the ways i found.

I already set a theme I want, but the lockscreen is empty. So I want to change to smth of my own. how do i do it?

my phone was plugged in jz now charging..thats y cant c the lock screen

Hi,
I am able to SSH my iphone. However, i found out that the connection was drop when the auto screen locked the screen.. Is there a way to prevent it beside turn off the lock screen?

When the screen auto-lock, it will drop the WiFi connection as a method to save battery. If you still want to access SSH, u can use iPhone Tunnel Suite. This enable us to SSH without WiFi and thru the USB cable. If u still want to use WiFi then u have to turn off the Auto-lock.

Added on January 5, 2009, 12:42 pmU can't transfer pictures directly into the photo library using iFunBox. It only works for wallpapers. Pictures can only be sync thru iTunes. iTunes will convert the pictures to the size manageable by iPhone and accompanied by a database for it. Thats why we can't simply put pictures in the photo library either thru SSH or iFunBox.

I still got 1 issue here.. I had turn off auto-lock & when no activity on SSH.. The connection will drop & unable to connect again.. I have to surft the internet on my iphone.. Only then, SSH is able to connect form my notebook..
I SSH via WIFI..

Did u get disconnected from the WiFi or loose the IP? Look at the WiFi icon next to the telco name, does it change back to 3G/E? And check the the phone IP address in settings when SSH drop its connection. Is it the same IP from the last time or it had change?

SSH does not have any timeout for no activity. What program did u use to connect to the phone? Most of use will use WinSCP. Maybe it's the program that u use that have a timeout.

I am using WinSCP... When during idle time, the WinSCP display out "time out "..Issuing a ping from notebook to iphone IP (STATIC IP) result in request time out. A quick check on iphone found out that the WIFI signal is as low as 1 bar..Open up iphone Safari to do some net surfing.. Then WIFI gain back FULL bar. and i am able SSH again..

Then its your WiFi signal thats causing the trouble, even ping to the IP would even get a time out. Try letting the phone get the IP thru DHCP and not static and see if it happen again.

How do i know what is the exact name for all the icons. There are many in my Theme's icon folder.. Open up all the png and view it? Is this the way? Or there is a better way...

I found out that each time i change an icon. It need to restart the phone in order to take effect.. Is there any way to REFRESH the icon without restarting the phone.?

You may need to look into those png files. Also, you can choose any png icons and rename them according to your springboard icons name. Then place them into the appropriate folders as mentioned or your theme icons folder and you're good to go.

If you have Sbsettings or BossPrefs, just use respring function and your icons will show up.

If your modified your icons and place them in the same theme you're curently using, select your theme via Winterboard and it will respring with your new icons as follows.

Do look at the first post for custom time fonts as some have provided links to download those fonts.

Do check the first post as some websites are recommended for themes.
