IMO, PC-Cillin sux..........im using NOD32 now, but it detected 2 of my symbian files as skulls virus....but in fact, it's not a virus, it's juz a normal theme for S60 phones.....haihz......

whichs matter ? fast scanning or superb detection? if you need fast virus scanner .. i think better not using any antivirus software at all.

i've been using kasperky pro 5.0 and i must say the detection is very good compared to other AV i've been testing. but what makes it very slow? i think because it scans deep inside the files including the compress files (zip.. rar etc etc) ..

to use kaspersky .. i really recommend to have very powerful pc spec .. i've tried it on Pentium 166mhz .... the monitoring is ok ... doesnt feel slow at all .. but the scanning makes me feel like want to smash out the computer ... damn lag and slow .. but that was on old machine laaa .. but for nowadays computer (256mb ram pc) .. it seems ok laaa .. just feel a little bit (can compromise one) slow during scanning.

i dont know now got interface already or not for the server edition .. before this we really have to rely on the adminkit to scan and monitor the servers .. and sometimes the AV service just dead like that (meaning it does not monitoring and scanning) .. we must monitor it thru adminkit

and last time i tried the kaspersky personal pro .. it work greats but when i plug-in my pda to my pc ... the pc suddenly reboot .. dont know why..

for free AV .. i trust Antivir ... the scanning and detection are very good compared to AVG..

as for CA E-Trust ... dont trust that software laa...

any info i can get for these 2 antivirus software? like detection effectiveness ... pricing .. how reliable the software .. i need to compare between this 2 antivirus ... no need other antivirus like kaspersky coz i already know how good it is.

i using nod 32 altough it design not good but his virus scanning very fast and good u cannot say nod 32 sucks

the scan time kinda long....and the erm.....detected 2 non-virus files as virus......haihz......luckily i didnt set it to delete automatically.....

i think mine 1 got 3 kerio process on it........2 kpf4ss.exe and each cost me 10M++ memory.....
