btw, how do u off the edge connection icon?
it shows edge reception instead of the telephone network reception as i surf without wifi at 1st.... emergency punya pasal...
then after done surfing, the icon is still there although i end web browser thru task manager

anyway, so far the issues i've encountered:

1.Camera red led can't be turn off (it doesn't even help in focusing)
2.Center button does not light up during active time...
3.Very problematic ways to delete themes that r not identified in application manager (though it seem 2 be usual in s60)
4.Camera sound can't turn off
5.Camera setting can't be saved (except user defined )
6.Edge icon thingy, so far it din charge me.... lucky me
7.Msg sending cannot be cancel (it's not a bug, but even my ancient w800 can do this... )
At times,i find it too much steps needed just to send msg (not a big deal though)
8.occasionally, when use enhancements while playing music, if u take out the headset, the fone will hang 4 a few seconds.... i dun noe y
9.any others?

well, 4 its price, u cant expect 4 a perfect fone

no no.... i mean when u tengah jalan sending msg.... u cant cancel it,
this might be a small feature but even my old w800 has it. but this is considered a smartfone that dun have a dumbfone feature

haha, my old w800, if baling to a ppl head, sure he pengsan 1...
but n79 could not, coz too precious to throw

at times, navi wheel overshoot the icons i intended to select, need some time to get use
but its a good thing is that u can can use the traditional scrolling and navi wheel at the same time

no need return as long i stick with them 4 1 yr more
abt the firmware, i'll wait 4 other ppl update 1st

during sending time, click the right soft key... it should then save the msg in outbox...
w580 firmware is newer than w800, so, maybe SE take it out also

instead of the phrase "sending message", it will change to "sending canceled"
then u have to go to outbox n look 4 that particular msg
anyway, this is n79 thread, 4get SEw800 n SEw580

any1 try blind messaging?
