QUOTE(Cyclone87 @ Aug 24 2008, 08:40 PM) Is intelburntest really that accurate? I pass 40 loops at 450FSB on 1.20 vcore. But then after the intel test, i open my IE, my computer just freeze out . Even super PI fail . But i can pass the test. wa...40 loop so much ka?better not be over stress till *touchwood* *touchwood* i tried on 5 loops config only.... but it can only pass 2 loops when i already tested my proc to pass prime95 small fft for 7hours |

QUOTE(zer0hour @ Aug 31 2008, 01:00 AM) Load is about 60-65C whereas idle about 45-50C. This is without EIST or Speedstep enabled. 90CFM to 110CFM yah i know, 20% diff, but not sure how much more effective it is lor =p QUOTE(manutd #1 fan @ Aug 31 2008, 05:11 AM) anyone using fm123 fan? iirc using higher cfm fan only will give u few degree c of improvement...something 1-3c maybe....planning to change xigmatek s1283 stock fan with this. hopefully can get cooler. |

QUOTE(zer0hour @ Sep 2 2008, 12:49 AM) His voltage and clockspeed are so low though. Should be a bit lower I reckon. actually on idle all the temps are almost the same....unless u put crazy n super high clock My idles are 43-47C, 1.288V, 3.6Ghz, Sunbeam CCF.. u can try to take down ur idle temp from 3ghz to 3.4ghz n u will see what i mean |

QUOTE(manutd #1 fan @ Sep 4 2008, 09:50 AM) i can't find any GTL setting in my bios. try to use coretemp 0.99.3 bro... this one is accurate or is it CPU Reference? if it is, i already put 0.9 if im not mistaken. The default is 0.5. anyway, what i the most trusted core temp reader program that can be used to measure cpu & system temp? coz my easy tune app read max 50-55 C during load but core temp & real temp read 70-73 C max during load. i macam got seen realtemp 2.75 but not sure if the tjmax is adjusted already..... QUOTE(shawn-mode @ Sep 8 2008, 08:01 PM) both are not from the same family and specs so u cant really compare that way IMHO...q6600 have a higher multiplier of 9 which makes it easier to reach higher clock n capable of taking more voltage due to 65nm while q9450 is a proc with lower multiplier of 8 thus making it not really that easy to reach a high clock... but as far i as know, running the same clock speed n other settings together, q9450 will beat q6600.... |
