I'll have to go with xandman ! And since Im D60 user, I want to say that D60 is far superior than 1000D Its like entering McD Restaurant and ask - "Ramli Burger more delicious or BigMac ?" Anyway, its around RM2k with tripod and 4gb SDHC, you might wanna ask our taiko KTCY here as he gets the best price among us.

QUOTE(darthbaboon @ Oct 18 2008, 11:58 AM) IMO, if you have a little bit extra cash, get the D80 Body Only (2k) + Whatever lens that you like (i.e. 18-105mm @ 1k). Total damage 3k only. Otherwise get the D40 kit set... very very cheap... maybe around 1.4k? What do you think of 2nd hand 1 month old D60 body can be sold nowadays ?

Hello bro, may I know where to get the lowest D60 + kit lens ? The cheapest and does it come with free gift ? Any ppl here can help me ? Just joking la Wanna ask, is that true of all D40,D40x and D60, the image processor for D60 is the slowest among all the models mentioned ? I kinda notice that everytime Ive taken a picture and the processing period is significantly noticeable, even with high shutter speed, and Im using Sandisk Extreme III 8GB SDHC 20mb/s. Any chance I can increase the processing speed ? p/s : Suddenly I got another lens 18-105mm from darthbaboon's sucessful trades list, I wish I had it

Where are the sifus ? All upgrading and left the thread alone, almost drifter away in page two Anyway Nikon SD 2gb is actually from Toshiba, that what I was told. But, it is very slow, I used it before changing.

QUOTE(zio @ Oct 27 2008, 09:39 AM) Ermm considering the D60 uses the EXPEED processor while the other two doesn't, I doubt it is the slowest among the three. If you turned on Active D-Lighting, then you will notice it has a slower write speed due to more information being processed. Turn it off and you should see an improvement. Thanks bro, will try it out first.

QUOTE(bajat_8x @ Jan 30 2009, 10:28 PM) Hye guys..i'm curious and i need some expert to clarify this to me..i've search it from the net already but i couldn;t find any answer is it true when our dslr body i.e d40,d60 which didn't support AF when mounted with AF-D lens for example: AF 70-300mm ED, the tele lens become useless because of the MF instead of AF? is it true? thanks in advance guys Nope, the lens wont become useless, its still usable. Its just you cant AF with D40/x/60, you still can capture photo with MF. This post has been edited by mizivincible: Jan 30 2009, 10:30 PM

QUOTE(BlueSilver @ Feb 8 2009, 01:27 PM) hi, i have a problem. I love to take pictures but then I'm really having a tough time learning all the technology of the camera. For example, I still don't really get how aperture works and the other stuff on a dslr. I really really REALLY want to be a good photographer. Any suggestions? By the way, I own a d40. You should have familiarizing with the terms even before you got your DSLR. But dont worry, its not too late. First you can try your D40 manual, it helps. Search over the internet about depth of field, Aperture, shutter speed and ISO - familiarize with these terms and you are good to go.
