@nezu
But nowadays, chinese tofu that sell around my area comes in those plastic sealed packing, and no more in the old look. Can still be fed to my hammies? And also, my hamster like your smoothies very well... they start showing me tricks or climb up and down when i open up the container near their cage.
Anyone got experience how to intro a robo from a different bloodline and batch?... My existing pair of robos will get too excited and start chasing the new robo when i put her into the cage. Then the new robo will start screaming and hide at the corner.
Methods that i have tried:
* A tank separated half, 1(new):2(old). I poked few holes on the splitter itself.
Result: New robo become paranoid and start screaming if she smell another robo on the other side of the splitter.
* Try to calm down the new robo for few days in a different cage, but put next to the old cage. The new cage, i've change all the bedding and display, juz that i din wash it with vinegar+water as some LYNer suggested.
Result: Still panic when i put her in a container with holes, and put the container into the old cage with 2 robos.
Yes, you can use the pre-pack white tofu (in square white box with transparent seal on top). They'll like it. I lazy to buy the usual brand and get from organic shop, the price is RM0.99 and RM2.60. Will try switching cages on sunday...
I tried switching bathing sand and wheels also, coz this 2 things got lotz of lotz of pees, so i tot i might get them to know each other. But so far didn't see the effect yet...
I remember I read somewhere about putting some perfume on the hamster's body and put both hamsters together, this is to make them to have the same scent, wonder is this method works? I never see or try before as I'm having Syrians and I do not need to intro them.
