Ya.. we have one 6.5" sanko silent wheel for her fei zai now.
But my sis plan to get wodent wheel junior for her female WW. hehe..
The female hamster juz gave birth last sunday. So now, plan to upgrade her tank and wheel to a bigger one lo..
I juz scared she don't have the strength to run on it only..

NEED HELP GUYS!! I just reach home and i saw the back of my hami full of blood!! before i go out he still very active, may i know what's wrong..i wanted to take picture and show here but he just stay at the same place dun wana move and look very tired, give food he dun want to eat

May i know what happen to him and look like the ant is moving outside the cage, will the hami be alright??

well i have come across my cage being attack by ants.. but my hamster didnt get injured.... so i jz clean the whole cage then can dy...
best not to leave leftover food behind...

i give my hamster acertain amount of food every day so means i have to feed them everyday...

will assure that the food is always "fresh"

Only few ants i using habitrail ovo pad..already quite long using that cage..imposible will injured himself..

Maybe ur cage environment attracts ants = dat is too much moist, so they wanna build nest? Or maybe urine? Coz urine does attract ants also..

Better u remove the hamster and give the ovo a good scrub.. Sray some pesticide to kill ants, then wipe clean, make sure no smell or leftover that still can smell the pesticide..

After ur ovo dry, u can use the method that we use for protecting mealworms, dat is = put a sheen layer of vaseline at the bottom of ur cage that is ovo la.. and any other area that touches the base ya.. the vaseline helps by creating a slippery track that the ants cannot cross over, hence ur hamster will be save la..

Put some papaya to the wound, makes healing faster and soothing too, and safer from using pharmacy's medicine = coz got chemicals we dont know safe or not for animals.. U have SAVLON Antiseptic cream? I use this one to apply to my gerbils nose.. She is ok d.. Just make sure the environment is ver very clean.. Dont let ur hamster get infection..

The spraying part of pesticide is not into ovo ya! Just the place where u placed ur ovo.. Trace the ants trail.. When u come to an end, spray from there.. Kill them from the roots of their trail! Haha

hi moli~ yup.. she settle down d~ eat so so much smoothie, but she dun eat much staple food wor.. hows yr slping buddha and the young one??

Hahahah... As long she is eating the smoothies, she doesn't take take the staple food also ok. That is like a backup for them when no smoothies. Creamy still the same as her title - Sleeping Buddha. Sleep & eat lor. Nottie grows bigger than the time I got her. Eat alot as well.

haha~ my noisie oso bigger d... such a notty gurl oso leh.. i bought a big bowl for her to slp bt she keep slping in the toilet, den i take her tissue put in the bowl, she move all the tissue back to the toilet.. muz bring her back to her aunty nezu there to get some canning !
