i still prefer the old serious FMA, they keep on giving out the jokes bout edward is short n then the randomness, it jz isnt suitable for this dark plot of FMA, jz my POV

agree with kwh1989. to me FMA is an serious anime so when does the joke kick in. It doesn't look good.

If u guys watched the first FMA regarding Lior..The Priest got revive Rose's dead bf..It didnt happen in the manga..Ntg wrong with that but the parrot also damn disturbing also..

I wish they made FMA2 in a serious tone, that would be verii nice.
Ocasional jokes is Ok, but there are too much randomness n joke.

yeap!!! precisely, the old FMA got random jokes as well, but they wont come out wif random jokes during dark times.

there was 1 episode in the old FMA tht only shows mustang n his gang daily working routine, tht was funny, with hawkeye pet dog hayategou

when i first watch FMA, i was like 13 i remember. Watching Elrics reviving the mom scared me up. somemore i watch with my sis, marathon through the whole night( until 4-5am morning).

Then when they show the parraot i was like
And the Nina arc make it so damn emo.
The manga where it show nina only 1 ep, not that much bond between nina and elric.
But in the FMA1 anime, they show them living together so long, that what make it so sad.

Ya, FMA2 too much random jokes and funny graphic. Even during serious parts, they gotta draw elric in funny form, for what reason i couldnt understand.
FMA1 have funny randomness, but they dont do it in serious parts, only when a joke is REQUIRED.

DAmn, hopefully they will make FMA2 more serious, cause i remember FMA1 got critic for being too serious and dark.

the old one seems more disturbing than the latest one; my opinion. hehe. am talking abt the nina arc.

maybe due to the old one give more details and time to develop some feeling towards the arc. hehe.

ya the old one had more development...
brotherhood only used 1 episode for it and thus nt much feeling of attachment to it...
still its dark and gloomy...

Sigh...poor nina....damn FMA remind me of this episode.

i kinda lazy to rewatch same remake event again.
