Interesting news.
Seems Animax Asia (which includes Malaysia) will screen FMA 2 as it is shown in Japan. 0.o http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-...otherhood-on-tv |

I only went by what the article reported which said it was simulcast. You got inside sauce, fatcat? (pssst.....you working for Animax?)
Besides 4-5 days is almost as good as most fansubs. |

Can someone tell me why Al needs to draw transmutational circles when everyone else just put it on their bodies for instant alchemist powers?

QUOTE(Sichiri @ Apr 8 2009, 12:51 PM) That's not my question. My question is why can't he just be like the other state alchemists and have a transmutational circle carved on his gauntlets or something (like Louis Armstrong) instead of using chalk and draw on floor. So inefficient. It seems no one bothered to ask this question before. |

Sure boh? The circles all look the same to me. I go look later.
But i think they use those elements because they train how to transmute the object and apply it to combat, not exactly because of their circle i think. |

How about a chimera waifu, human and tako? So got tentacles.
So after ep 5 i was wondering, why can't Ed just draw a Transmutation circle and re-build his automail and Al's body? |

QUOTE(BelowAverage @ May 7 2009, 02:56 PM) cause he can only transmute the content and element inside, but once the stuff inside are missing, he donno how to build it. I'm sure he can sweep the floor collect all the parts together if that is the case. Eg. He can transmute a car into a lorry of equal size, but if some parts were missing or to give him some parts, he wont be able to build it. |

I conclude that Ed has to "UNDERSTAND" (one of the fundamentals of alchemy) how his automail works to be able to rebuild it. As he doesn't know since its either too complicated or whatever, he can't transmute it back into a working arm.

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Jun 2 2009, 02:26 PM) When Winry got to Central train station to repair Edward's automail arm, the moment she call out to Major Armstrong, I noticed Ed & Al's master and husband walking passed her. Is she going to be featured in this series? I think the last, she beared a homonculus as her child, yes? Good catch. And of course i'm sure she'll be featured. Its quite an important plot point.![]() |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Jun 4 2009, 02:00 AM) Yea, that's the part. Well, they did talked about their sensei but we havent seen them being featured in the anime so far. Got one ep we see the Elric brothers training with their master ler. Very short scene. Can't remember which ep...i think its same ep as the flashback one talking about how they tried to transmute their mom.Personally, I get this feeling the anime is progressing a little faster than the last time? It's only Ep.9 and they are done fighting the 2 armor with soul affix to them? I think the previous FMA took a little longer yes? |
