get an external amp and plug to line out of e10, but which one, well thats another story later on, for now, try to see if e10 alone satisfies you

If you are using it for your phone/Mp3 as well, E7 is your choice. If you only want to pair with your lap top. E10 of coz

The E17 are coming product but not so soon

the 3 of them u mentioned are USB DAC+Amp, each has their own signature sound, but only e10 and the upcoming (still under speculation) E17 are 24 bit DAC

go for e10 since it is still in "pre-order" stage, it's cheaper, i got mine! and hence abandoned my GoVibe USB DAC (alone in the dark)

e10 performance is more toward bass, clearity or sound stage..?? how is it when compare to Hippo Box+.. thinking of buying either diz 2 model...

There is no way you can compare both of them, totally different animal created for different applications

Is it normal for the E10 to heat up when used and remained slightly warm when idle but plugged in?
