i hv bought the panasonic nami jr...but there was no remote control in it...went to the shop and the salesman gave me the yuragi also nami series (according to the salesman) remote control, claiming can function as well...tried at home and found that the remote control not function on the fan....wonder whether it is the fan or remote control problem....
can anyone answer me? dunno whether should go back to the shop or to call for panasonic technician...

Shouldn't you reject the entire fan and asked for a new complete set instead? it is obvious the set has been opened and they misplaced the remote

just managed to sent my panasonic speed control board for repair.
So i no need to buy new set, save some money.

I know that it actually can buy the capasitor at pasar road, then fix it DIY. Few ringgit only. But i don't have the tool, some more need to pay parking fees.

So i already sent to 1 of the shop near my office at USJ, they are pro becoz i sent some of my industry machine mother board they also can fix. Of course they repair all household electrical item also.

Spent RM45, morning pass to them, evening can take back.

Now i got another fan also got board problem, thinking to go there again tomorrow, before CNY, and ask for discount.

One question guys.. My house ceiling is quite low.. About 9'3'..
Plan to install regulator type fan.. See at KDK website the shortest length can go 18" = 1.5ft..

Can it be installed any lower?

Nolar, since you have already installed and its running fine..I think it would be troublesome to dismantle it and return to shop and i dont think they will entertain you also..I thought you checked when you opened it before installation

When you buy the fan, you didn't ask the shop to recommend you contractors?
Some of the fans are easy to install, most electricians probably will know too.

KDK and Panasonic are from the same factory...KDK doesn't has factory in Malaysia. You may see the part inside the board or motor and found the Panasonic's model...The different between KDK and Panasonic are the color and design..Also you may have a look on the box for both fans, Panasonic has stated the factory's address while KDK didn't state any..

I'm having two panasonic fan with remote control. After using for 4 years, recently the fan speed cannot be changed although there is a beep sound when I press the higher speed button. Any idea what when wrong and is it worth while to repair?
