dear all,

I have 2 Panasonic ceiling fans, i believe its a Yuragi, 4 blade.
1. one fan has issue with speed, it wont response to the remote anymore
2. another fan is spinning very very slow, not responding to remote also.

anyone has any opinions? should i
1. fix it
2. replace

any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

1 of my pana fan also not able to control the speed anymore. Always on speed 1 only when turn on.
Thinking to buy new 1, becoz i think if replace the sensor unit at the fan also will cost a lot.

So i will choose KDK this time.

My house got 3 pana from old owner. 1 got problem now.
1 KDK K14X8GY ( just half year with self installation. ) I'm happy with it.
I bought it from cima lighting RM235. Last time i saw newspaper got another shop promo but forgot where selling RM22?-230. Anyone know?

just managed to sent my panasonic speed control board for repair.
So i no need to buy new set, save some money.

I know that it actually can buy the capasitor at pasar road, then fix it DIY. Few ringgit only. But i don't have the tool, some more need to pay parking fees.

So i already sent to 1 of the shop near my office at USJ, they are pro becoz i sent some of my industry machine mother board they also can fix. Of course they repair all household electrical item also.

Spent RM45, morning pass to them, evening can take back.

Now i got another fan also got board problem, thinking to go there again tomorrow, before CNY, and ask for discount.

I'm having two panasonic fan with remote control. After using for 4 years, recently the fan speed cannot be changed although there is a beep sound when I press the higher speed button. Any idea what when wrong and is it worth while to repair?

if you know DIY, buy the capacitor from Pasar road and fix it. ( google it which capacitor to change )
RM4 + petrol + parking

if you don't want to waste your time, i can recommend you go to the electric repair shop at USJ, i sent the board to him, RM45 only.
PM me if you want to know the address.

I have 2 KDK Ceiling fan that couldn't received the signal from my REMOTE control.

Any idea how to adjust the speed manually? Or How much it cost to repair it?

Should I consider replacing it?

control board in the fan is not working.
if you are in Klang Valley, i can recommend you go to Subang, there is one electrical shop repairing this.
i have send 3 last time for repair, now working fine.

RM45 for repair, but what they do now is you bring the board to them, they will give you another one for swap( repaired unit), so you no need to wait.
KDK, panasonic using same board.

pm me i will give you the address.

look like all the board will not working after 3-5 years... so far 1 year repaired still ok.

I see...but I don't not know how to dismantle the board.

Anyway pls check your PM

PMed.

don't worry, easy to take out, just open 3-4 screw, then you will see the board, unplug the cable socket and there 2-3 clips holding the board, just take out.
5-10 mins job.

where is BU?

not the top part, bro. It's need to open from bottom.
I have check my KDK, same also.

picture 1&2 . turn the cover anti-clock wise. to unlock
picture 3 : then you will see 3 screw there.

after that you will see the board inside. Unplug the cable socket and take out from the clip.

for the wardrobe, can make DIY if you can't find it at any hardware shop.

go to find some small wood, make something like V or U shape.
ideal like the picture below.
the top part can be open, only bottom part to support the bar.

I tried to open the cover but failed to do so. It's either too tight or not the way of opening it

my fault, maybe KDK is follow clock-wise to unlock.
You can see there is marking there...
