last time round i bought 2nd hand US DC console, the owner gave me this joystick as well
it needs repair and proper cleaning... few buttons not working properly... also dirty here n there

No, I haven't used those before as I already own the Agetec stick. You may want to take off the whole thing from bottom and clean the inside and check the connections, shouldn't be hard. If they are snap fits you could even replace the buttons, but I'm not sure what buttons might fit

Anyone selling, been having trouble getting this console.
Last time i heard, Sega is going to mass-produce sega dreamcast in
bundles with games. But its nothing concrete.

u know any shops that sell spare parts for arcade cabinets?... wanna look up for the buttons...see if they fit

maybe you can try searching in play asia .. they have some for sale

maybe but they do have the linited versions though ..they have the jap exclusive sega megajet console ..(the price... arghhh... ) few days back ordered one saturn from them though .. now waiting for it to arrive .

Didn't know such a thread existed :-O
Anyway someone here was asking if you could play MegaCD PAL/JPN games on a US CDX, you can but you need a Pro Datels Pro CDX adapter, there were 2 types, one for a model one genesis and one for the model 2, I am using a model 2 on a US CDX, so far it works on most PAL/JPN imports, I bought this to play Keio Flying Squadron (JPN) cheapest version out there, lol, but fortunately managed to score a mint complete US copy for next to nothing.

Regarding the game genie I think you need to enter codes, I personally use the Super Mega Key with the dip switches so I can change between PAL/US/JPN games.
Works on my Sega Nomad too.
