Anyone joining the work and travel in USA program on the coming summer break?

I think I might be joining.


We cant join the white water rafting for the outdoor club already????

I m not sure about that.... but u can join the rafting when u r at US, n i heard is much more cheaper

if u r going, u wil go for how long? I m looking for ppl who going 2 work for 3 months (then travel bout 2 weeks) n come bac b4 new sem start, so that we could form a gang n go 2gather~~

should be going for around 3 months I think. Got quite a few people from my course that are also interesting in this programme

Hey, I attended the talk on Tuesday..

I tot it'll be a great experience to join a programme as such..

Explore the world and be more independent plus enjoy usa man...

anyone can join the usa thing? is there any limitation for it?

I m from Mechatronic engineering year 3.... u studying civil which year?

1st year, 1 or 2 of my classmates have already applied. But which do u reckon is a better deal, the 1 by speedwing or the 1 by out of the box??

ic... I m not sure bout tat... from wat my fren told, OOTB is more organised (bcoz of less ppl join), speed wing more ppl join (may b more fun?).... Anyhow, actually they both are sponsored by same sponsor.

when is your summer break?

come to speedwing ..... alot of ppl joining speedwing . You will get to know alt of ppl if you follow speedwing... compared to outofthe box ..

Anyone going for 5 months there ? ... if yes, pls msg me ... we might able to travel together to look out each other ^^


our summer break is from mid may till mid sept

Basically I think if you're no longer Year 1 don't go for the WAT programme. It's a bloody waste of time.

I reckon it would be better if you do some internship programme or some sort.

i dun agree wif u, u only need to spend 1 summer break for internship. u may use your year 2 summer break to do internship, then year 1 and/or year 3 can go for work and travel, even can go again when year 4 (if applicable)... It's lots of fun and it's a life experience...

You can do a lot of stuff during summer break.

Of course, it's up to you on how to use your time.

I would rather go to USA to work and enjoy =.=

Other colleges and universities also offer this work and travel program or not?
