Oh, prices for other center speakers quoted to me:
Focus Audio FCC 2 - RM2,300 Focus Audio FSC 1 - RM3,690 PSB Synchrony Two C - RM3,890
From those prices I believe can bargain lower at least 5%.

QUOTE(maxizanc @ May 24 2009, 06:43 PM) A&L quoted me RM9 for 1 feet high quality speaker cable. Is it the right price? I need to get at least 6 feet for each of the speaker. Any other suggestions on speaker cable? Speaker cables can vary a lot in price. I think A&L supplies Audioquest cables right? To know whether the price is ok or not, you also need to know which model of speaker cable it is.

QUOTE(arremie @ May 25 2009, 03:32 PM) For RM9 a foot must be Audioquest X2. The cable is cheap but Audioquest banana connector (solder type) can cost u RM20 a piece. One cable terminated both sides already need 4. Imagine bi-wire cable Then go bare wire - more direct connection to speaker terminals. Save money some more. However, I do use banana plugs for my surround speakers because harder to reach terminals (so banana plugs very convenient). My bananas come from Monitor Audio, got them years ago from Australia.

QUOTE(sonyman @ Jun 28 2009, 04:29 PM) exactly whats is the selling price of RC52 ? From htkaki's post above the price seems to be RM13XX. Added on June 28, 2009, 4:54 pmQUOTE(maskedchan @ Jun 28 2009, 04:36 PM) C60 can go die far far already..hehe no wonder so many people go for the "K" speaker already..hehe Yeah, seems many have found better alternatives to the C40/C60. Either heading towards Klipsch (around the same price) or Focus Audio (more expensive). At least the PSB floorstanders and bookshelves still have a lot of praise in their price range. Very nice! Those Imagine Ts look good. Very similar styling cues to the Synchrony. Like arremie, I too would like to know what sub is that? And you're using 2 of them! Looks like a sealed model. Nice gloss black finish.

Don't think you need to cover all the RCA jacks. Only the input ones. Besides, now A&L selling the Cardas RCA caps at reduced price (12 for RM69).
Anyway, I did get 12 to try. Covered 6 pairs of the input (still got others uncovered). First impression, a bit more treble and air.

I suppose if you want to cover all also can, but from what I've read so far the inputs are the most important.
Also, from reading a review on the Telos caps (the other brand) they said not to overdo it. The guy there whack a lot of caps and found the sound too harsh. Then he removed some and it was better. So he said have to experiment with how much to cover.
Anyway, if you end up buying 24 and need only 20 I don't mind buying the remaining 4 from u.

QUOTE(neoardi @ Jul 31 2009, 05:00 PM) Any using Image C40 center speaker? ..how was it? i want to pair it with my Image T55 and i think it is the only choice i have for the price RM1k... any other recommendation, i think i can max up to RM1.3k.... thanks in advance For your budget the C40 is ok. Of course there are better center speakers out there, but at significantly higher cost. Another choice somewhere around your budget is the Klipsch RC-52. Some forummers have that and say good things about it. Ask htkaki for the price.

QUOTE(prescott @ Aug 6 2009, 02:11 PM) hey guys, any idea when the Image series available here? New Image SeriesWebsite says shipping in Q4 2009. Hopefully here by Dec. In time for bonus... Will be interesting to see what is the price locally. I see that the MSRP for the Image T5 is US$899, which is the same MSRP for the Image T55 when it was introduced in 2005. Anyway, by my estimation the T5 would be RM3.2k - 3.4k when it gets here. For T6 would be RM4.3k - 4.5k. This post has been edited by jchong: Aug 8 2009, 03:23 PM

QUOTE(neoardi @ Aug 10 2009, 11:46 AM) I guess the old Image Series (since the new one still not release yet) can suit your budget... eg: Image T65 or T55 (front), Image C40 (centre), Image B25 or Image B15 (surrounds) T55 x1 pair C40 x1 B15 x1 pair As a package I think can get for about 4.4k. Can also try out Dali. Hey squall_12, why not visit A&L Bangsar and try out CT Seong's service?
