4ohm speakers are power hungry...need powerful amp to drive it so that it could perform to it's optimum

Questions: which are easier to drive?
1) 6ohm with 90.5db 250W vs 8ohm 92db 220W 2) 4ohm 91db 300W vs 6ohm 90db 175W vs 8ohm 90db 200W My wild guess are in bold, am I getting it right? This post has been edited by geforce1999: Oct 20 2009, 08:52 AM |

basic rule....the lower the ohm the harder to drive but if u able to drive lower ohm speakers efficiently then they will really sing

Hey C.T. Seong, which is more expensive? The PSB Image or the Dali Lektor? OR its a bad comparison between the 2?

^ Oh yes. Looks so much better than the "ugly" DALI speakers. But the only concern on this PSB is the fact that its a 6 Ohm speaker..Yammy receivers don't like low impedance speakers especially the 4 Ohm ones.
