hey, had anyone tried the krav maga training at muay fit centre?
any feedback?
i'm kindda interested but worried it might end up being juz another training of basic movements mainly focused on health & slimming purposes only...
been "conned" once into attending a MMA training in 1 of the local gym & end up it's juz about getting fit...
which was attended mostly by so-called "classy" ladies & sissy wanna-be martial artists...  rclxub.gif
really looking for real krav maga training focused primarily on combat & survival like my current karate training...  thumbup.gif

Hey, I'm interested in taking up martial arts for fitness and personal reasons. I live very near at the Puchong Junction, very close to the Pearl Point International Hotel, on Jalan Klang Lama, can anyone tell me if there are any Muai Thai, MMA, or boxing gyms near or on Jalan Klang Lama? I'm not too interested in the oriental martial arts like TKD, BJJ, Akido, and others. Thanks, oh and any gyms too.

i wanted to learn actual krav maga, unfortunately the one at muayfit is not really krav maga, and after a couple of months, you'd end up doing the same thing over and over again. its nothing like how you see overseas, waste of money. muayfit is cheap yes, but dont be fooled by the price. =)

BJJ i would suggest you try Leverage Combat Academy, under Marcos Escobar, theyve just moved to Solaris in Hartamas.

um...i think taichi fits any age and any sex...
anyway i think most martial arts fit most age groups, it's how u practice and warm up that matters.

i think aikido would be great for u, not really sure about the teachings, but afaik, aikido deals with joints and lock, and throw people around gracefully when they are off balanced. go ahead and try it out. smile.gif
