Any tips for someone who just started playing COD 4 multiplayer... I personally find it really hard to level up as most of the players are already in very high level..

Anyone wanna buy over my COD 4? It's just sitting there and i got no time to play it. Sigh. Selling for RM 110 (damm, lose almost 40 bucks just like that.)

I think the only advice is to play more to improve and have fun while at it
High level doesnt mean godlike skills. It only means you have d xtra perks n guns.
Starting at level 1 itself, there are already some perks n standard guns dat even most high level ppl use. Ex. Stopping Power and ak47, which you can use once you are able to cr8 custom class can really do som gud damage...

Ah yes, a starter eh? Well, in my personal opinion, those high level guns aren't in any way more superior than the weapon you're using (with the exception of P90 and M82A1 (Barrett .50 cal) which are slightly overpowered and MP44 which is quite underpowered). Heck, even though I'm lvl 55, I still love low level weapons like AK-47 and MP5 coz they suit my play style. Worst come to worst, if you're desperate to level up, you can use gay kits that includes a noob tube, 3x frag or martyr. But then you'll run the risk of ppl hating you (and they'll probably try to kick you. Depending on which server you're playing).

My view is that for as long as you are not using hack or cheating like aim bot, wallhacks and a few more which seems to be happening a lot in some servers here, you can use any legal weapons and perks.

To be fair to everyone, the game should have a simpler 'fair or pro' rule that enable only basic weapon and perks for admin or players voted to enable it. As for the tube vs non-tube, ban or kick-voted tube is not fair unless the same is done for those with fragx3 perk, for that matter juggernaut as well. In real world battle, there is not such things as juggernaut but there is frags and tube.

As long as the game publisher put up weapons, then every player has the rights to choose and use whichever it is allowed to and if you think your opponent has a better weapon, then high time you choose a similar weapon. In most cases, weapon is not the one that make you good. Its your shooting skills with different weapons, running, jumping, knifing and running again that make you a better player.

Ah. New guy. Well, level doesn't really matter. Start out using maybe Spec Ops class. Then when you can create custom. Go for AK-47, Stopping Power, Deep Impact. First perk is your choice. Leveling from there ain't too hard. Get used to the gun, own it, be one with da gun. How to tell someone's hacking? Go to their comp. If you see a red laser coming out from the tip of their weapon, and bodies where walls are blocking, call for any ESP player, and they'll come bashing up the guy. LOL.
