u should be able to get a solid 50-60 FPS with everything maxed out without any console commands of course......u should read reviews about 8800gts instead of asking here....anyways akem i got a friend using w1max....surfing web and dling is ok but if playing games online the ping is quite high

Got a unit alrdy.

Patched till 1.7. However when i play multiplayer i get the error iw3mp.exe has stopped working. I googled and it's related to Realtek onboard sound audio. I enabled stereo mix as suggested by someone online. However i still get the error.

Mine is using Realtek and Vista also, no problem like that so far.. has the problem solve yet?

Yea, sometime I got that message only when I ran a lot of programs at the same time (e.g 3 Firefox, iTunes, etc)

How to play COD5 ahem version at cxxxx server? I wish to try the mutiplayers gaming experience first before purchase the new game.

Try go to CC and play it over LAN to get some multiplayer experience before purchasing the game instead. That wa, you don't have to support pirate at all.

You can try your luck @ CoD5 section instead of CoD4.

Most of our members know I don't like LAN gaming experience except last time for competition purpose.

I already got some help from our member in here hopefully it can works soon.

I plugged in the mic, enabled stereo mix, renamed mssmp3.asi.

None works. All the above have been recommended.

When you play multiplayer does the error come come out the moment you press the icon or AFTER you enter the game? When does the error occur exactly?

It could happen anytime during gameplay. All softwares up to date.

hmmm, could be a conflict between multiple drivers. I know its tedious but have you tried reinstalling the client?

I didnt thought of that...

I only get the error in servers with punkbuster on. Don't get any errors using garena though.
