Although still in planning stages, i'll release some of the details and updates for the events here, so members can view updates here.
Currently there are no major changes to the Malaysian R&R, however there will be some side events that might be added later on for your enjoyment.
The league is planned to start after WGT in hopes to slingshot the community into the planned Call of Duty™ 4 : Modern Warfare Malaysian Regionals in 2009 which is open to regional teams.

Rules and Regulations
The Amatuer League restricts players and teams that have been in the top 3 placings from previous NewEra organized competitions to compete. This means that most of the competitors will be either old teams or new ones. Also, organizing members are not allowed to compete, which means [ESP].oNe and [SwL].pEw will not be participants in this event.
Current Restricted Teams :

[ESP].aXe

*these teams are however, welcome to help in the league, so long as they do not marshal their own team games*
Current System in Planning, Group Stages for 16, 24 or 32 teams. Round Robin, all games are to be run within the same week. (this means all round 1's for all participants must be completed within the week, where round 2 will start the following week) This is to allow a constant stream of games, without delays.
The League should last at least 1 - 2 months, where the finals will include the top 2 from each group battling it out on a double elim play off.
There are plans for a Losers bracket as well.
Venue : To be confirmed
Fees : To be confirmed --> might be high so teams do not "fly aeroplane" in the middle of the league
Prizes : To be confirmed --> might get steel series to sponsor products..
