Added on February 14, 2009, 4:04 pmi got mine bark from trees.. old tree.............. different size .......... break them into little parts. micowave to kill all pests and mites  fill a small layer of coco-firbe as bedding ........ construct the cave.. add more coco... and water to add stength .. end product a veri wet habitat.. then left out to dry by itself to damp condition.. it structure is weak ... more coco and water is added ... the cycle repeat til a soild structure is acheived...... Hmm... HH i prefer bone dry with juz a drop of water at a corner once a week Since they are desert/sub desert sp, they get all their moisture from food and they can store water in their body more effectively than tropical sp |

I just changed my scorp substrate just now.
I wonder why sooo clean still got mites!
i really scare to hold them. and if they got mites i dont know what to do. let them die?

just changed my scorpt substrate..
strangely for the 1st time red ants has made their home on the side of the enclosure. luckly all the scorp are fine. (hopefully) and one of the scorpling are very angresive dunno y...
Added on February 15, 2009, 11:31 amoh danny u did the same.. what u got mites.. good la u change. to prevent anything happening to ur scorp..
