FontSwap finally get updated

My Cydia didn't work! When I click the cydia icon, a blank page appears in a few seconds, then returns to the desktop. How to solved this? HELP!

Cydia does not work when you're not online hence it will revert back to home screen. Make sure you're connected online and launch Cydia. Cydia only works with internet connection.

No..no David I did have a WiFi connection on. Can go to Safari n other web apps. I just found out that my Cydia crash due to error logs. Moreover since I JB my iPhone with Pwnage tools maybe(?) the icy did have some error on it also..

What I did was just now:

I used the 'terminal' on my iPhone, and type:

su root

password:alpine

apt-get remove cydia

- it prompt: Yes, do as I say! (press ENTER)

apt-get install cydia

exit

And open Cydia. Voila! Maybe this one can be a reference for anybody else who have a crash Cydia later on. Cheers!

Very cool then. I JB with Pwnagetool and don't face any problems with Cydia. Did not use Icy at all.

Stay away from Icy

The moment you start using Icy it may screw up some system files. Stick with Cydia !

screwed up all my Cydia updates until I finally restored and re-jb'ed thanks to the forumers' advice.

Stick with cydia and your updates should be fine

Does anyone has problem resuming their downloads with Cydia?
It says resuming at XX kb but then once i press Confirm, the download will just start anew.
Kind of frustrating with all the POSIX and Cached Failure errors, i cant even manage a single download from Cydia so far.
Using a 2G iPhone OS3.0 btw.

I think a restore and re-jb would do the trick. On Windows, don't click ICY.

sometimes it is because of the connection itself. my iphone dont respond nicely to the office WiFi and always hang when i download something tru cydia.... i guess due to the traffic....

try another WiFi connection.... if the problem still exist, try reJB it.... but my bet's on the connection problem...
