Several factors lead to hair loss in men and women, most notably androgenic alopecia, an inherited condition. Treatment is available. Early treatment produces better results. Balding is a cosmetic condition, usually resulting from genetic influences, aging, skin conditions, or certain medications. The most common forms of balding are male- and female-pattern baldness. I have accidentally visited this site http://www.1-800-hairloss-treatment.com/ and gave it a try. It has informations and products for those people who are balding and suffering from hair thinning or hair loss. I have been using it now for 6 months and i am very happy with the result. I recommend you try this for good results.

According to me when it comes to healthy hair, it’s not just what you put on your tresses that count,it’s what you put in your body, too.Always maintain a balanced diet with exercise for healthy hair. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.

Some fantastic guidelines for the healthy hair are:
Wash your hair daily using some top quality natural hair shampoo. Comb your hair constantly. Moisturizing your head skin with dabber oil, or almond oil. Eat more calcium foods and nutrient vitamin meals. Drink more milk products. Don't use cosmetics for your hair. |

This may appear to be self advertisement but you can check out this website www.trichohaircare.com.my for some info on hair loss causes and treatment.
While we do not normally comment on forums, there are many reasons for hair loss. Some are not yet well understood like MPT and AA, one caused by androgens and the other by auto-immune response. These 2 are the most common genetic related conditions but not the only. Fungal and bacteria infection are another cause and where treatment is not provided immediately, hair loss is often permanent due to tissue scaring. There may be also behaviour and pyschological reasons for hair loss, such as compulsive hair pulling, bad hygiene, head dress or caps. Covering your hair all day and not washing your hair at the end of it can lead to fungal and bacteria infections. Scalp disorders, malnutrition, poisoning, illness, drugs and pregnancy are other causes of hair loss. Hair perms or hair chemical can also damage your hair resulting in hair loss. Of course this list is not the concise list. It is best to consult a doctor familiar with hair loss problems or a trichologist if you have hair loss. Hair loss is not only a condition but an important symtom in diagnosis of some illnesses. A doctor or trichologist would be able to tell the difference between a symtom or just a genetic condition. Often a blood test, medical and physical examination, even a hair mineral analysis or a hormonal lab test is needed for a proper diagnosis. We often work closely with doctors and dermatologist to diagnose and treat patients. If we suspect illness as a cause, we usually recommend the patient see a doctor to have the suspected illness verified before putting the patient on any treatment. As for products, both topical and supplements, they are as good as the diagnosis and if you are not certain, it is often a hit or miss scenerio at best. But generally we do not recommended self treatment as many products contain harmful substance that may be absorbed through the skin and accumulate in the body. Quite often this leads to kidney or liver problems or hormonal imbalance. And too much calcium can be a problem of its own. And if you really insist on self treatment, do see a doctor to have a blood test and medical examination every 6 months and keep a health diary, writing down any symtoms that you may encounter while you are on these products and stop if something unusual appears. Always establish a health baseline first. Hope this helps. BTW I am not the trichologist, just a friend of the trichologist. The information above is just regurgitated but proof read. |

Hi, I'm facing front receding hair loss around early 20. I'm current 24 right now, the front receding increase by 20-30%. Is there any solution or treatment to make it grow? or should I change shampoo??
My background: 1. Balance diet 2. Using any brand of shampoo 3. Stress level: on and off 4. FAMILY GENE 5. NO back receding at the moment (fingers crossed) |

Try Dr Nathan @ Nathan Skin & Laser Centre.
He does treat hair loss problems as I was one of his patients. I can safely testify that his treatment works as I was experiencing major hair loss issues. However, do not expect immediate results as it too me almost 5 months to notice substantial and significant improvements. His treatment for me included some supplements (one of it is folic acid), hair spray and shampoo. I've visited his clinic 3 times in the course of 5 months and each session cost about RM650. If you do intend to go, I suggest you make an appointment as walk-ins will have to wait a very long time. |
