hi...
currently my brother is looking for a modem router...(wireless)
which according to him...
this modem router allows the celcom 3g card to plug onto it...
and then we can share the broadband connection with others in the house...

so...what's the cheapest modem router on the market?
and which will you recommend?(if there are few models that the price is about the same)
thx smile.gif

Hell yeah!! My p2p download f**king slow. 2days+ for 1episode drama. Suddenly implement the fair usage thingy.

As for Celcom, depend on your luck. 5GB fair usage applies but depend on system to cap your speed or not. biggrin.gif

Try using utorrent. If still unable to download, use the torrentflux service. smile.gif

My current torrent traffic, it's international seeder. I can reach peak speed of 46KBps in single torrent and the speed may reduce a little if 2 or more torrents run at the same time.

Yesterday my torrents were super slow. grumble.gif
Not being capped as tested on speedtest, I got a results of 1800kbps. hmm.gif

Maximum only 50kB/s. cry.gif

Well, it hasn't rectified yet, I'm using direct download now. biggrin.gif
Gonna use it for this tough situation. sad.gif

Yup! Torrents seems to be slow lately... My average torrent speed is now 20kBps as compared to 60kBps average in July.
About direct download, I got 50% chances of dc. If I don't direct download, no dc... funny, right?

Hi Soundsyst64,
How much you bought your E220 in PC fair? Kuching price normally higher than Penisular M'sia.

Well, mine only happens in these 2 days. Three days back I got 180KB/s. smile.gif

DDL also not bad for me, achieving 120KB/s averagely. hmm.gif

Hi Soundsyst64,
Just curious. Do you mean you torrrent one by one??? Normally, I torrent more than 10 at the same time. Is this the reason why my speed is much slower???

Well, sort of. I try download one torrent, others queue, can go fast, but when more than 1 running at the same time, got a slight speed drop. Overall, it depends on the seeders. nod.gif

Technology changes every day.
By the way, the guy is selling Maxis' sets of Huawei E220 as Maxis logo is printed on the modems. He has the wild series too, quite nice. biggrin.gif
Well, all these modems are unlocked for all networks. wink.gif
