80km/h @ 1800rpm
140km/h @ 3400rpm
Are u sure of the above? If your RPM at 110kmph is 2200, how did you get 3400 at 140kmph? The Kia K5 6 speed auto has the following readings:

110kmph = 2250 RPM
160kmph = 3250 RPM

Polo 1.2 TSI 7-speed DSG

110km/h - 2200rpm
I would have expected a lower RPM at 110kmph for a 7 speed DSG. Do you know whats the RPM for the Golf 1.4TSI at 110kmph?

All depends on the gear ratios and the tire diameter. Just mathematical calculation.

My Saga FLX 1.3 CVT;

2.7krpm at 110km. Full tank RM70, if maintain 2.7krpm@110km all the time can use 4-5 days (oil tank icon will bleep) until 360+km.

2.0krpm at cosy 90km. Full tank RM70, if maintain 2krpm@90km all the time can use 5-6 days until 420+km.

FC high at higher rpm? I'd think so smile.gif

Yes im aware of that. But based on the RPM readings for 110kmph, ull be able to calculate the readings for higher speeds rite? Thats why i feel something isnt right.

The gear ratio at the speed 110km/h and 140km/h is different, is it because you floor the paddle causing the gear down shifted?

i think so, but it depends... sometimes i got 110km/h @ 2500 rpm, and i lifted my foot off the acceleration pedal.
but it was going downhill that time.

Suzuki APV, a small 1.5l MPV with 5 speed manual.

90km/h = 3000 rpm blink.gif
95km/h = 3200 rpm shocking.gif rclxub.gif

So if 110km/h it should be around 3700rpm. rclxub.gif
And this is on 5th gear.

Hmmm.... looks like CVTs in 'final gear' allows engine to run at lower RPMs at high speeds. That's good. One disadvantage though is the rubber-band feeling when you want to overtake when you're already at final gear. I wonder if Audis with CVT have the same feeling.
