Nowadays i dun like to give indian ppl wash la.. They simply use strong pressure airjet sapu my car la. My bodykit also wan to jatuh liau as my PU one using clip only.. shocking.gif Summore cuci tak bersih one... Then use duno wat oil oil thin in interior.. Smell sucks. shakehead.gif

Urs there ok o not? Detail ah they wash? If ok, they i can visit u liau.. How much wash? Indian ah ur worker? Near my hse only leh. I stay in Subang too..

Nowadays i tend to jes wipe myself using polishing cloth and water only. Soak the cloth and wipe it with pipe water only. I scared jet pressure la.

Paiseh I also use strong pressure airjet but if you are scared of it then I'll just use normal traditional bucket car wash. All Car Detailing Centers use high pressure jets (About 2~3 bars pressure) as it is needed to clean the Wheel Wells and Wheels properly.

As for the detail on the washes, I guess you just have to come and check it out yourself, try it to know it smile.gif Washing for Honda City RM12.

The polish cloth that you use for wiping is cotton or microbre?

Peel it off and use thinner to wash off residues. DO NOT let the thinner touch your rubber trims or paint surface or its gone sad.gif

I use only Sonax. Currently the No.1 brand in Germany. What car are you driving and what colour is it?

You mean for normal wash? It's RM10. Its size is almost like Honda City right? Can't really remember as only seen this model in Singapore last time sweat.gif

I see. Hmm what I can do for you is you bring to my shop, we'll wash down and clay the whole car. Then we'll whack the 190W Halogen Lamps, see what needs to be rectified. From then on, you can wash/clay/wax yourself smile.gif

Claying itself is additional RM6 for Honda City. Its kinda cheap since claying is quite laborious...

Wash = Makes your car body clean
Clay = Removes stuff shampoo can't eg. tar
Wax = A protective layer to protect your paint

To make your ride shiny, Polish is your answer my friend. But after polishing, remember to upkeep and wax every month. My Polish jobs takes bout 4 hours for your car's size. I'll assume its black right? Cause it's a good colour for shine smile.gif

You can use rubbing alcohol aka Spirits. Do not user THINNER. One drop of that and it'll dissolve your clear coat. SPIRITS is like rubbing alcohol and it is safe on paint (if you accidentally get some on the paint). It works great to remove stickers from glass as my Visual Merchandising Dept use them alot to remove stickers from our shop's glass windows.

Honestly, I use thinners as its very very easy to use on glass. But I take extreme care to not let a single drop touch the trims and the paint

Its a branding issue. Meguiars been in Malaysia a longer time than Sonax. Objectively, I wouldn't say one is better than another as there's no such thing as the best brand, it depends on your application. For example, you want a fast wax, Sonax's High Speed Wax is better and glossier than Meguiars. You want to cut your paint deep and fast, then Meguiar's Diamond Cut has no competitors in this category, though I find it generates too much overspray sad.gif

But at the very least, Sonax in itself is definitely a prestigious brand, being the ONLY car care brand with a presence in F1 and an official research partner of McLaren in engine additives. You make the choice wink.gif

If you are free, just drop by and I can give you a fast demo, then you can decide for yourself whether the results is good enough for you.

Satelite silver? Lazy man's colour lar bro tongue.gif Don't worry usually you won't have problem with this colour one. There's this MyVi who came to my shop last Sunday wanted to Polish to make his paint shine, but pakai silver, I told him if he resprayed black or red or something I can do it. Thats the downside of these type of colours sweat.gif

Hmm, patut la..No matter how i polish i need a lot of lighting only can see it shine. hmm.gif
Lazy man colour means hard to see the dirt ah bro? I wipe my car like once every 2 days. I use wax like once a week.. laugh.gif

One more thing bro, since u r in this line, do u know anything that can clean rubber? U know the door rubber seems like faded colour. Err, i think most car 3-4 years also got one. Be it BMW or wat sure the rubber look like mamafunkuro. Any recomendation to use it to make it shine and become black again? Like those leather cleaning thing can help ah?

Can i use my Kit car wax 2-4 years to wax my sport rim too? Any harm?
