They can change those limiter and A/F ratio, but not the ignition timing. Need a special password from Proton to do that.*Proton CPS club V2, Please read the 1st page before ask Q ^^

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 25 2008, 11:32 AM) even it's RM50 that still worth lo. The best is get your car for dyno, then ask them to adjust the A/F according to graph. Just got updated by my friend. The A/F ratio is still the same, only the 'limit' is change. Now he can happily rev his AT car to redline. |

QUOTE(b48753 @ Sep 26 2008, 10:22 AM) Let me try 1st, maybe after my 20k km service. 200km/h anyone? QUOTE(radd @ Sep 26 2008, 01:39 PM) sad story, my headlamp got penetrated by water on both side, left signal also. suspect due to very heavy rain in kk last 2 week. only realized that my HID not functioning after going back from tarawih. luckily i manage to arrive sandakan before dark, if not... already go to sc, they didnt have stock for xenon bulb, need to order. but nvm, im going back to kl tomorrow. after raya i will be working in pj, so i decide to order and service at semenanjung. i know this question already repeated for so many times, but anyone mind to tell me location of sc that someone said new, located inside petronas.. or any sc which offer good service? Maybe you can smoked your headlight after you got the Xenon bulb replaced. Ask them to 'double' sealed it after smoking to avoid water leaking. 1 year at sabah, would say life here is great. but even better if drivers here (especially sandakan) care to give signal when change lane, give some respect to motorcyclist, drive with brain, dont drive VERY SLOWLY at right lane. u can see by urself, very irritating. 1 more thing, people here love to drive big2 car but got small2 brain. drive like crazy, hit others then others will die. parking fail! hit my waja dont want to pay, then pakat with police that already known will biased to u. haiyyah.. hope i will never see again this thing in kl |

Maybe I will gp tp exhaust shop to change muffler and/or add another bullet today. But still undecided on the setup. What I want is a bassy sound at the 3k rpm to 4krpm range, which is now quite loud, but want to keep the performance gain. Any suggetion?

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 11:43 AM) get a 17" bullet (19" is the best) and look for IMPROVE brand as the material is thicker and s-flow for bassy sound. If u really want good bass muffler then look for big huge s-flow muffler like Apexi Megaphone. QUOTE(shinjite @ Sep 27 2008, 11:44 AM) The sound now is bassy enough except at the 2-3k rpm range, which is I think quite weird. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 11:50 AM) So the culprit is the standard muffler, I thought the dual exhasut tip is good enough but maybe its just cosmetic |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 12:07 PM) acutally not the tip and yes u r right the tip is mainly for cosmetic only. the weird sound is due to the material used on standard muffler, i say it's quite thin material. So when u remove the cat-con (the ultimate restriction item), your exhaust flow become faster and solid. When it hit's on the thin wall of our standard muffler (s-flow) all the funny noise came out. So, what muffler you would recommend? Will the twin loop good enough? BTW, I saw cars with dual exhaust (on the left and right) and looks kinda cool especially when its integrated into the bodykit |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 12:44 PM) The original mugen twinloops muffler is good, but the imitation i dunno. Best muffler (interms of HP increase) is Hooker brand then followed by Flowtech and Bassani. For japanese brand u can look for Tanabe Medalion, 5zigen fireball, Mugen twin loops, Apexi Hybrid Megaphone or local Top Cat S-flow also not bad. QUOTE(shinjite @ Sep 27 2008, 01:44 PM) Well, that sure will cost a lot. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 02:51 PM) Yup, but still wondering whether its really worth it to spend so much on muffler, QUOTE(shinjite @ Sep 27 2008, 02:54 PM) Maybe will get the imitation one. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 27 2008, 03:58 PM) no worry la...i can recomend u 1 guy which he only sell the original muffler. u can find him in zth and his name is Jannah. Or u choose those with Jasma tag, that's confirm is from japan. Thanks 4 the advice. Will try to search for used Japan made muffler 1st before getting the imitation one.U need to shake the muffler and listen is there any tiny material inside, if there is then the muffler are not in good condition. Then look at the welding and bending area to ensure no re-welding. |

QUOTE(pearjar @ Sep 28 2008, 09:00 AM) If i wanna use the 4-1 extractor (remove cat-con, put direct bullet), better install bullet or midbox? Also wanna change to s-flow muffler... Got advice to add midbox (fgk) as cps already have the stock bullet. Someone mention to remove the cat-con will cost you about 110 while changing both (extractor+cat con) is 230. And I dont think that you can fix a bullet (or a midbox) at the cat con place because its near to the radiator and the position will be kinda weird (diagonal). For me, the nest thing I will upgrade is the muffler. If still not satidfy with the sound, only then I add another bullet/midbox. |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 28 2008, 11:19 AM) that's called bypass (to replace cat-con). Bullet or midbox, that's depends on what is your requirement. Bullet will give u less power loss but less noise deadening. While midbox is vice versa. Either bullet or midbox, I always refer to straight flow and never get those with weird and alot of restriction type. I thought midbox give more restriction, hence lesser power. |
