I'm also thinking to do soundproofing .... maybe toward year end... from what I heard, with soundproofing you dont even need to upgrade your standard stereo...
*
I personally think Waja standard ICE is good enough. nod.gif

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Sep 17 2008, 02:01 PM)
get the ori cleaning kit, dun get the imitation type. It can't clean well.
*
Not done any cleaning yet, as it still clean. Unlike my previous ride open pod K&N, need to be clean every 4 month which I've done at Speedworks. Cost me RM8. Lazy to clean myself because my strut bar obstructing the filter, so cannot take out without 1st removing the bar. laugh.gif

The best should be pointed to the listener. Unless its design to use the winshield as a 'reflector'. nod.gif

just wondering can CPS manual waja 1.6 outrun latest jazz 5-speed auto? was considering waja becoz of its low price compare to the tax-heavy jazz
*
Not sure if in straight line (highway) but certainly can if in corners. brows.gif But you got rm30k extra if buy Waja. Can upgrade many things such as full exhaust, intake, LSD, racing clutch, lighten crank pulley, e-manage... whistling.gif

I dont think by buying waja, we'll have rm30k extra budget to upgrade it. It's simply down to how much we pay for monthly installment. The basic remains the same, 10% downpayment, 90% loan (except those who can afford to pay more downpayment). So basically there's no excess 30k unless we'd buy waja or jazz cash.  biggrin.gif
*
True. But I always think of the entire loan cost, not just the monthly payment when taking a loan. But I personally tjink that Jazz is overpriced. laugh.gif

Yes true, for a 1.5 car, it's overprice city by almost 20k.... probably due to its non-ckd nature...

I would rather take Nissan Livina for that kind of a price. But that just me lah laugh.gif

But you need more torque if the car is heavier, thus more fuel as you step on the gas harder. nod.gif

even if waja is manual.... the fc is quite terrible versus auto from toyota or honda (sub 2.0l) ...

You don't buy an above 1 tonne car and hope to get a better FC than a sub 1 tonne car. But does the amount of saving (from the FC) justify the higher monthly payment? You decide. laugh.gif

QUOTE(Hominido @ Sep 20 2008, 09:56 PM)
jazz is 5 speed auto not lousy proton wira 3 speed auto gear so if compare manual dono lar

Any kind of transmission + heavy right foot = High FC. whistling.gif

BTW guys, I just replaced my extractor with an aftermarket one (without cat-con). brows.gif

Definitely. Cars feels lighter and can feel the power surge. The delay cause by the drive-by-wire also are minimize. Maybe can get 0-100km/h in less than 10sec. The downside is the exhaust sound now is less 'bassy' at when dragging the car.

The sound now is like 'empty pipe', maybe due to the removal of cat-con without replacing it with a bullet. Of I were to change the muffler, I would get the twin loop. Look and sound really nice.
