define boring..if u wanna compare it to other cities in another country where u can spend a week, then yes.

What is there to do at night in Melaka? If it's weekdays where there are no night market at Jonker Walk.

BTW..which Nyonya Heritage Hotel can you guys recommend?

if no Jonker u can still walk the streets around the area, still got nice shops, cafes opens, just less crowded..Or else u can go hunt for famous makan place.

but stumbled upon vkeong post and saw this recommend kapitan kongsi hotel.... decided to book there.. 100++ a night and looks good @ laksamana area... hope will enjoy my stay there!

Those who love historical buildings, back lanes, small streets, etc will love Melaka.

but its a somewhat new area, so don expect too many things around la..and its around 10 mins driving distance away from Jonker.

i thinking to go melaka on 10/12. is it a good time?

Melaka will be full of tourists during school holidays like December but as the 10th is a Sunday there should be lesser people than Friday and Saturday.

Melaka is crowded during every weekend, especially now that it's school holidays and as we are getting very near to Christmas.
