For starters, check out the first page of the thread (that should keep you busy for a while). After you're done with that, you can google to your heart's content.

All the software you have when you got the phone (eg blackberry) will be reinstalled when you upgrade your firmware. Third party apps that *you installed yourself* will be gone --> reinstall again lo.

Nokia PC Suite and SE PC Suite are not cross compatible! At the top of my head, the only way to transfer messages between these two phones would be to save to your SIM, then on new phone copy out from SIM. Actually, I'm not even sure if you can do that.

hey i install the sis hack into the c.sys.bin edi right... if i reformat my phone..will it still be there? what happen if i screw up my c drive.. reformat it and everything bac to default?

after format, everything will gone...just backup ur personal data to memory card or laptop thru SE PC Suite or MyPhoneExplorer...

this phone don't have profiles like other SE phones.if there any software can act/do like profiles ?

IINM can do profiles just the method is tedious...my phone not with me right now

Now i have a difficult question, can text from document / editor and paste into SMS?..
