Just check with electrical shop. They give me price for 1HP RM1350 (inverter), RM1100 (ion), 2HP RM2650 (inverter) & RM2200 (ion). All price without installation. Would like to know ion means non inverter?

Just check Panasonic website. Look like inverter & non inverter also have nanoe-G function.

QUOTE(sovietmah @ Aug 12 2013, 11:56 AM)
I checked it seems like latest model don't have ionizer,

This price also Taipan Branch? wow! CS-S24PKH = 2.5HP? For living area?

QUOTE(sovietmah @ Aug 12 2013, 02:31 PM)
Ya true.
Probably ionizer no more useful so panasonic took them out.
I just went back to check the price again.

Panasonic Inverter
-------------------------
CS-S10PKH = RM 1200
CS-S13PKH = RM 1450
CS-S24PKH = RM 2499

All price without installation.
I planned to buy 2 x CS-S10PKH + CS-S24PKH.

Have you separate between living & dining? or both use 1 aircond?
BTW you get this price better than mine.

Aircond Panasonic - unit price
1) 1HP (Inverter) - RM1250
2) 1HP (non inverter) - RM840
3) 2HP (Inverter) - RM2380
4) 2HP (non inverter) - RM1800

QUOTE(sovietmah @ Aug 12 2013, 02:47 PM)
Yes, for living room for sure.
if buy more maybe cheaper bit.

I also plan like this. Living & Dining share 1 aircond need ask contractor also. I just check have branch nearby my house but the price don't know can get or not. BTW do you have ask price for 2HP inverter too?

QUOTE(sovietmah @ Aug 12 2013, 03:01 PM)
living room and dining room and dry kitchen is linked up together,
so that's the problem here, so need 2.5HP at least.
I probably might install one aircon at dry kitchen later on depends on the usage in future.
Wet kitchen then is separated by a sliding door.

Personally I just need to cool down the temperature, don't need to be like in Alaska, so 2.5HP probably is enough.
I already ask main contractor to install the inverter pipe for 2.5HP link from living hall and the compressor i am going to keep at 20 feets away from the living hall (wall beside the master bed room).

if your house is too far from the branch here, I guess RM50+ is quite OK, they probably charge u the same for transportation too.

How about 2HP living & 1 HP dining?

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Aug 12 2013, 03:12 PM)
I would recommend using 2 unit of 1HP. 2.5HP will use a lot of electricity

Sorry what means under spec & over spec?

QUOTE(weikee @ Aug 12 2013, 03:36 PM)
If the Ac is under-spec it will use more electricity. Because it need to run longer to achieve the cooling state. If over spec you can still adjust the temperature to higher, of course not too much over spec.  My living area and dining area are join, I use 2hp for living area and 1hp for dining area. Usually only switch in the 2hp if we just watch TV and set the temperature to 24. And if got gathering usually switch both on and find just nice.
