Hi Ken,

I would like to know more about this filter.
I hesitate to go for it due to the cost but I am interested to know because of the excellent reviews here. What is the cost involve here and how is your personal experience using this product? Also if you don't mind, are you one of Amway dealers?

So does the "Magic" works? lol laugh.gif Well, I think kinda brilliant idea if can modded into the Magic or at least able to make the pipe flow into it. Less hassle. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jan 3 2015, 12:20 PM)
Currently using thermo pot already.. wonder sometime need to get Cold water. tongue.gif
*
fill it up in bottles, put them in fridge biggrin.gif

I think for the "sometimes" which is 5-10% of the time, really no need mod the espring + dispenser.

It is not advisable to do so, for the design of espring is not meant for that, PM if u want more details.

besides, ur electricity bill will go up also

Buy Kangen water filter. Many health benefits. The rest. are conventional and same.

it is an old scam revived to con money. Alkaline water was not new in market, it was a scam used back in 1980s, after a while ppl forgot about it and now it came back.

Cosway is not certified by NSF.

view this video people test the Cosway water filter in Taiwan, and you will want to throw it away.

Even coloring particle also cannot filter, mind you, coloring particle is quite large compare to VOC and other chemical contaminants

yup. ceramic filter cant filter food coloring. only reverese osmosis can.

thats y i am looking forward for an upgrade to RO
*
Ceramic filter actually can filter colouring, as this is about the micron size of pores of the filter.

prolonged RO water will cause calcium deficiency.

You can understand Chinese? if yes, view here:

actually i dont need the hot and cold function as u mentioned there i can boil the water or put ice cubes in it,ill wait for elken technician to check then ill go and check espring out anywhere i can check espring and try their filtered water?
*
Which area are you based at? If you are in Klang Valley, can go to Amway HQ and try.

I can provide demo to you without obligation also, bring my demo unit, install at your home, let your whole family try + fill up 2 x 1.5 bottles for you to try.

Then you can experience why it is best source of water.

At the moment, there is a new standard by NSF - 401 Emerging Compounds/Incidental Contaminants

401 is a new standard that come out few months ago - read here

It covers all the pharmaceutical by products that enter the water sources and certify whether water treatment system can effectively filter these chemicals.

Espring was the first (Dec 2014) to pass the standard and at the moment (march 2015) only Espring & i-Water (from Taiwan's INOVA Green Tech) pass the standard.

Full report - here

PM me for more details / demo smile.gif

Cheers

I think any filter that uses quality activated carbon filter can pass that new standard.
*
At the moment only 2, "quality" at many times can be quite vague. This is why NSF Test Report should be referred to when making a choice.

They do very comprehensive test, using aged filter to perform the test instead of brand new filter, save us away from all the hassles of making a wrong choice.

Like the eSpring if got lightning will it get spoilt?
*
Hi Ck2chan,

No worries on this, if really kena lightning, it will fry the DC adapter, DC adapter has 1 year warranty instead of 2 years on the whole espring body.

Even after the warranty is lapsed, the DC adapter is a lot cheaper to replace. Espring (3rd Generation) is a lot stable than Generation 2, I had sold over 100 espring and never had 1 with electronic problem, compare to 2 units from Gen 2.

So you can be rest assured it is really a solid product smile.gif

QUOTE(ck2chan @ Apr 23 2015, 12:49 AM)
Hi, how frequent need to change the filter?
*
5000 liters or 1 years whichever come first. Why 1 year? because the chemical compounds are "stuck" inside the cartridges micro pores, prolonged usage are not recommended to avoid unwanted chemical reactions between the chemical compounds. In short, for hygienic reason, please change after 1 year smile.gif
